[The feed starts with the ceiling getting further away and a crash as the NV hits the floor. Willow rubs her hand looking down at the NV tapping it gingerly with her finger drawing back. Huh... No shocking.]

That’s weird.

[As if something from a horror film, a silhouette formed behind her and the cord from the toaster wrapped around her neck and pulled her backwards.]

Buff--

[She choked, attempting to wrestle the cord from her throat.]

[ Buffy has been spending her morning not waking up on time. The smell of coffee wafting to her room is what roused her finally. She was groggy and still in her pajamas, even. But the second she hears Willow, and a clear struggle from the kitchen, she jumps out of bed and bolts down the hall. ]

Will!

[ She sees the commotion, is immediately worried, and goes to work. She manages to wrestle the part of the cord closest to the actual toaster into her hands and pries at it, trying to get it off of Willow’s neck. ]

TL;DR? They get attacked by Appliances. )

[The video opens with Raphael - in a crisp, clean suit - in a wing back chair. He's sitting perfectly, body still, face almost blank. There's a moment were it's not clear if he's even breathing, and when he speaks, it's even more scrubbed clean of emotion.]

Siren's Port. I've recently arrived although I've been here several days now.

I do not need an introduction to the island, I've received it.

[The other angels and God figures can likely guess what has prompted Raphael to address the island.]

For those who knew Michael, he is no longer in the Port. I'm Raphael, one of his brothers. I will be taking over his affairs.

[SPN Cast Filter]

Michael informed me of the arrangement here. I see no reason to pick up hostiles.

[Even now, there is barely anything. No clench of a jaw, no tightening around his eyes. No inflection in his voice.]

[End]

[Gabriel filter]

You've been here the longest, I was told. Is there information I may need?

[There's only the hint of anything as he addresses Gabriel - his jaw tightens, just enough to be noticed. Still, his voice is flat.]

We should talk.

Hi. [Why look, Siren's Port, this is one very annoyed person on your NV's today. All bruised and bumped and covered in grass stains. The norm of those who just fell through the sky. Again.] I'm Tony Stark. And for those of you who may not have noticed, we've been blatantly kidnapped. I've been told this is, uh, not something new, here? That some people have been living in the magical land of Stockholm Syndrome for years without actually realizing just how bad it is?

[His bullshit meter just hit so high it practically punched a hole through the stratosphere, guys]

I need three things. First, the nearest Starbucks and not whatever coffee equivalent Canada's pushing out. I will practically marry you if you can supply me with a coffee IV drip right now. Second, access to a computer for three days straight. And it cannot be some crappy brick from 1997 that still thinks Internet Explorer is too advanced to run up to speed. Third: information on any and all major businesses that have even the slightest interest in technology advancement.

[He reaches up a hand to rub two fingers against his temple, a headache more than just coming on.] Get to it, Port. And remember: Coffee. First.

A good evening to you all. I find myself in need of a new dress. I've mended my old one as much as I could. This has also made me think of others who may need clothes mended. I grew skilled at this back in my home world and would be happy to help any of you.

... [quietly to herself] Strange how I have already grown to think of it as a "world" apart from where I am now.

Is this as big a deal as I think it is? How can I help her if it is? What should I do?

Jeez, between the people from that church asking for donations every day, recruiting officers for AGI and SERO, and idiots trying to threaten me to join a high school or else, I haven't had a moment to myself. No means no, people, sheesh.

Running a strictly neutral business isn't as easy as I thought. If this keeps up, I might have to hire some big guys to keep them out of my hair. I won't risk a broken nail over people like that.

But that's a topic for another day. What I really want to know is this: how many of you have been to this "hot yoga" place I saw in the mall? It sounds interesting.

Crowley is going to set up little headers (best couple, worst person, most disgusting moose) and you can feel free to comment anon by putting 'ANONYMOUS' in your header. Hey. My name is Dean Winchester, I don't make an appearance on this thing very often but I've been here for a few months and I've got the greeter gig so I might've run into some of you on the field once or twice before.

I'm lookin' for work. Somethin' that'll help me bring in the groceries and get somethin' nice for my apartment.

Let me know if you've got any positions available and we'll get t'know each other better.

[ For all that she's clearly calm, even smirking slightly, something about Lois' eyes indicates she is quite pissed. ]

It's been pointed out that no one outside the Newcomer's Network wants to admit the hunts happened.

Government and corporate cover-ups--where I come from, that's so old hat a whole job appeared just to annoy the crap out of the ones responsible. More importantly, that profession also tries damned hard to give voice to those who can't speak up.

This is what I do for a living, people.

I've gotten tossed off a building, kidnapped, shot at, you name it--and my boss may murder me one day for the lawsuits. It's a risk, I'll say that front and center. Speaking up and signing your name to it is hard, but that's what changes the world. Even if someone inevitably throws the first punch, ideas and words hold our higher ground. Whether it's petitions, demonstrations, public statements, or people in power being willing to step up--I know, I know, but it happens!--that's the fuel for the fire. And we have been, among ourselves--but outside? They want us to sit down and shut up. And not just about the hunts, either. We all know how things are with SERO and AGI.

I, for one, am sick and tired of obliging.

If you want to step up, if you want to take this to the front lines, talk to me. Personal stories, eyewitness accounts, stats on the legal or medical sides, or even just how we are mad as hell and can't take it anymore: it's time we get it out there and stop being afraid to say, "This is who we are, you don't get to use us for a whipping boy."

[ She takes a deep breath. This part hurts more: she's the only one left to push this part-- ]

And if you want to do more than just that, there is a platform for Newcomer News just waiting to be built. It's not just for writers or TV reporters: AV techies and designers, researchers, computer and equipment techs, experienced or looking to learn, we can use you. [ She rattles off an address. ] I can't promise good pay, but if you're signing on--or just looking to share your story--that's where I'll be.

They'll try to shut us down. Me, I'd like to see them try.

This is Lois Lane, investigative reporter, throwing down the gauntlet. Over and out.

[Diego is sitting at his desk at the prosecutor's office. There is a large stack of paperwork in front of him. He picks up the top sheet, casually sipping his coffee with his other hand.]

Thirteen suspects. Let's add it up.

One hundred and thirty counts of willful destruction of property. Twenty-six counts of arson. Ninety-one counts of assault, twenty-six counts of assault with a deadly weapon and thirteen counts of assault by misuse of powers. And last but certainly not least, fifty-two counts of manslaughter.

[A long sip of coffee.]

Now all I need is names.

You know, back at home I've probably dealt with a whole crap ton of situations way worse then the Newcomer hunt, thing was, you could always move around and see some new place after you blew the place up. [When the NV turns on, there's some faint noise in the background. There are a few people talking, too far away from the device to be heard properly, and there's the sound of a piano somewhere.]

When I worked in investigations back home, the worst I ever had to worry about was paperwork. The system was meticulous - overly so - and everything had to be done perfectly. Actual crime was low and the perpetrators were always caught and dealt with in one way or another. No one remembered criminals, either. Their names and ID numbers would disappear off the grid, smothered into silence. In retrospect, it was as efficient as it was suspicious.

[There's a hushed voice near the NV and Re-l thanks someone briefly.]

I've said it before, when I first arrived here, that this system is so much more corrupt and lacking...and yet it's also similar to my home. It's not the police and it's not the politicians, necessarily, that are the trouble. It's the people. They're so full of hate and stupidity, and they lash out at anything that's different. No one can be critiqued, especially not by a Newcomer.

[A bottle is opened and she pauses to pour herself a glass. She drinks it down quickly.]

They hate us enough to treat us like animals and hunt us. The best part of it is that no one wants to admit that it happens and no one is safe. Not official citizens, not cops, no one. Charming, isn't it?

[She leans back in her chair, the wood creaking. She's silent for a few moments, and though she wants to say something helpful...she just can't. Not over the network.]

If you have information about the people who were caught or those involved in the destruction of the hunting grounds, I suggest you go to the authorities immediately. Fill out a report, make sure you get a follow-up call, and cooperate with the detectives. If you come into the station ready to throw chairs or threaten officers, you will be thrown out or locked up. Don't piss them off.

...And one more thing. [She sets the bottle down with an audible thump.] Behave yourselves and stop getting your names on my desk, goddammit.

[Counter to her last post, Mary is calm, composed, put-together, an iron look of determination in her eyes.]

If you've called someone and gotten their voicemail in the past three days, you need to comment here and tell me who it was.

I don't care if you think they got sent home, if they have an alibi, if they're supposed to be on a week-long vision quest, I don't care. If there's someone, anyone who you can't get ahold of and isn't absolutely definitely accounted for-

[Mary stops, folds, unfolds her hands. When her sleeve pulls back slightly, you can see a pair of handcuffs around one wrist.]

There might be another Hunt going on. We have to figure out now how many people are missing. Rationalizing where they might be, telling yourself it's not a big deal- forget that. We don't have time to second-guess.

I'm starting the list with Yosuke, Bigby Wolf, and Jesse Turner.

[Her hands are shaking a little. She grits her teeth slightly.]

Behind her, the sky is overcast, and the pitter-patter of light rain can be heard.]

Is this on?

[She seems to be talking mostly to herself, only to realize the device is on! With a startled little "ah!" noise, Nina jerks back, going stiff.]

My name is [Hesitation. How does she identify herself here? She understands what's happening, but she doesn't know who else could be out there. But the pause doesn't last too long.] Nina Fortner. I've had everything explained to me, and I have to say, I don't like it! Taking people from their homes? Away from everyone they care about? That's not right at all! Not ever, but especially not when some of us have things we have to do back where we came from. "Where we came from"... the idea of other worlds is still weird to me. I don't think I can bring myself to believe this is real.

You know, I think do have a few questions, after all. If anyone could answer them, I'd be grateful. And...

Yes, yes, life is not fair, we are toys to any being with more power than us and let me tell you, it sucks. What is the purpose of being here and- and liking people only to have them taken away and forgotten when one leaves?

Aside from a very scant few of you, there is not likely a chance we shall ever meet again. So whatever is the point of trying only to- to feel this.

One would think that by literally kicking the sandman in his sack- by 'the sandman' I mean Nightmare and by 'his sack' I mean his newly forged magic crown- that I would be granted a reprieve from terrible dreams and given only the good kind involving magic and all of the shaken milk I could drink.

Ichigo's drinking something hot from a paper cup, looking thoughtful as he does so.]

I guess today's Father's Day. You know, it's probably a good thing my old man can't call here or he'd be complaining that I didn't get him anything. He's a pain in the ass like that.

[One of the boys throws his soccer ball at their father, laughing happily. For a second, Ichigo looks over at them, then shrugs.]

I dunno. I reckon I've got a good excuse.

[There's a sudden shout from the boys as another person joins their party carrying a picnic basket, and Ichigo turns to look again. Their cries of 'Mom!" make her identity immediately recognisable, as does the way the two boys throw themselves at her like eager puppies. She's laughing as she ruffles the hair of one of them and kisses her husband's cheek.

Ichigo looks away and picks up his coffee.]

I don't think he'd blame me today.
