It's almost the end of January.

Which means that I'll have been here for over two months now. I don't know if I should be celebrating or wondering what the heck I should do next. I still need to find a job, so if anyone has any suggestions, I guess that would be helpful.

Guess you can call it boredom, but I'll raise a question. How long have you guys been here? ... And do any of you even celebrate your one-year anniversary or something like that here? I mean, if you've actually stayed here that long.

[ Leaning back in a chair and legs propped up on a nearby desk, Damon Salvatore looks incredibly beside himself with boredom. Alas, despite setting up his NV just right for this broadcast he had only wasted a small amount of the infinite free time he's found here in the city. This needs to be fixed ASAP. ]

Having a little bit of a conundrum. I'm more of a nighttime activity sort of person and I'm finding that's not really working out here. I need places to go, things to do, people to meet. Interesting places, mind you.

I’m open to suggestions of bars, pubs, speakeasies. Anywhere I could get a halfway decent drink and partake in the culture. You know, get to know the locals. Maybe find some work.

[ That last bit is dripping with subtext, though he's not one to blab his business all over the place in public. ]

The name's Damon, in case you're wondering.

[ The video starts at an angle, propped up against something but, due to her height, she's still more or less at eye level with it. Her hair is up in a bun, her bangs styled neatly over her forehead. Her current temp job would run for a few more days, until the permanent secretary came back from an unplanned vacation. Her outfit was simple, nothing that would stand out in a normal office. Which, thankfully, this was. ]

It's been a pretty interesting start to the year so far, I'd say. Getting snowed in at the mall, homicidal robots, and that bomb at the apartments. It's amazing how people can go to work the next day like nothing happened.

And expect others to do the same. I don't know how much longer I can keep doing this 9 to 5 thing. [ She gives a half-assed smile at the half-assed joke. Not her actual hours, just more of a general work comment. She's cool. ]

But I guess I should be lucky to have a job, no matter how boring it is. Even if answering phones is the last thing I thought I'd be doing here. [ But damn it all, she needs money bad enough for it to be something she'd do. ]

[ voice | filtered to peter petrelli | ridiculously easy to hack ]

Peter, where are you? I really need to talk to you. [ On the off-chance he'd even see this. After what happened with Shika, she's been worried that he'd been caught by SERO. ]

[The video opens to reveal a smiling Xellos, his eyes closed.]

Hello Siren's Port! You can call me Xellos the Mysterious Priest!

[He does a little bow]

I’d like to get some information from everyone. If you would help me out, I would appreciate it.

[He pauses and considers something for a moment]

Especially about this lighthouse I was told about, it certainly seems like there is an interesting story behind it.

[The video kicks on and Loki is sitting cross legged on a roof, view of buildings in the background behind him, the NV is propped up so the view is at an angle. The hood of his zip front sweatshirt pulled over his face, casting a shadow. Green eyes fairly glow from under the shade of that hood. He's smiling and it's just a bit sharp, a bit smug as he carefully plucks up and eats a blue M&M from a bowl of entirely blue M&M's, a can of Redbull held loosely in his right hand.]

Blizzard.

Rather inconvenient. [The smile grows more sly.] For some people, anyway.

For others, well, perhaps it is better that some of us are on the straight and narrow. [A grinning pause] Mostly.

[He pops another blue M&M into his mouth, chewing silently while he considers]

Boring, boring, boring. The walls are closing in. You know what happens then? Some real fun. Not yet, but soon. You'll know when it starts.
