Good day, Siren's Port.

Today, I must tell you all that I don't plan to stay here. I have learned that people have begun to flee through the ocean. Furthermore, this island has become far too hostile. I will try to continue my business in another land, but I am certain that things will be much different if I do. I will be lying though, if I said that I don't miss home. In all honesty, I do feel compelled to see what is happening at the core and if it could return me- as well as others- home.

To my dear employees, please let me know what your plans will be. I want to be assured that you all have somewhere to go, even if I close up the company and leave.

Snake.

[A pause there.]

I'll see you at home soon.

[And he gives a sad smile before closing the feed.]

[When the video feed comes on, it's fixed on Lee Chaolan sitting behind a very modest desk-- a far cry from the finery he used to be surrounded with when he was with SERO. In fact, the place around him doesn't look like a technological firm at all. It looks a lot closer to a very simple... house.]

Good day, I'm proud to announce that my new company has finally set up shop. We are now Platinum Phoenix Enterprises. Like my old company, we value innovation, but due to the restrictions placed upon us, we are now looking to set our roots in new avenues.

Because we wish to explore new industries with our state as a True Neutral business, I am opening our doors to applicants with a wide range of specialties. [In the wake of the new plans by SERO, Lee has been working double-time to decide whether to become subservient to the company, or to finally break off like he had planned to for a while. But certain things have been making the decision a difficult one to make. So, he makes this text post locked to all the Newcomers on the port.]

While it has been my plan for the long run, it seems that given the recent circumstances, we may need to change gears prematurely. If conditions are favorable, Violet Systems will become a wholly-neutral company. If so, we will have to go through a rough patch in our operations for a while. I cannot assure that I can continue to grant you the things I had promised when I hired you, but I hope you will understand when I tell you that I do this for our values as a newcomer-run company.

If you wish to leave, please let me know. If you would wish to stay with us, I would appreciate that greatly.

Well, this comes as a late notice, but Violet Systems has turned a year old a few days ago! We'll be having a sale at our showroom for all our Darkness security systems, so feel free to drop by! Our Showroom Manager, Danny, will be more than happy to show you around.

But most importantly, I'd like to show you all something.

[He grins and turns the NV to face a newly installed slide, similar to the one at the Google office, but it leads into a ballpit of violet plastic balls!]

The newest installation to our office! Slides! It makes it a lot easier and fun to get down from one floor to the other.

We're still on the look out for brilliant new employees, so feel free to let me know if you're interested in a job.

Good morning, fellow newcomers. My name is Lee Chaolan, President and CEO of Violet Systems.

I've been considering that with the amount of newcomer-owned businesses here that we should set aside a little time to celebrate our work and share it with the rest of the island in a grand event. With that in mind, I'd like to know what you would think of a weekend-long Newcomer Business Convention-- not just to showcase our products and work, but also to help make it easier for some of our fellow newcomers to find employment in newcomer-run jobs.

At the same time, it would also be nice to have panel discussions on running newcomer businesses and even how to start up businesses for those with high hopes of creating one.

Let me know what you think, or if you'd be willing to participate. I'll be bringing this up with the Newcomer Political Party if the responses turn out favorable. I would want to help keep this kind of affair as neutral as possible, so as to be fair to all newcomers.

I would say something about welcoming newcomers to the port and probably inviting them to join Violet Systems again, but I feel like I need a change of pace. Face it, it's tiring always having to put up your most professional face. I'd like the opportunity to let loose at least once.

So, tell me-- do any of you practice hand-to-hand combat? I've learned a few over the years.
