[Kurt has been off for quite a while now--so it seems as though nothing has changed, not really. When he starts to speak though, it's in this falsely smooth, oddly controlled tone of voice. His face is very pale.]

Recently, Blaine made a post about a movement from our home called It Gets Better. To reiterate, it's a way in our world for people to reach out to one another via the Internet to share experiences and assist in the prevention of suicide for LGBT youths. I'm pleased to inform you all that he and I are establishing a similar program here in the Port, hereby named the Out of the Darkness Project.

[He presses his lips together for a moment.] If anyone would like to share their experiences with finding light in dark times--whether here or at home, and for any audience, LGBT or otherwise--please send your videos, texts, and audio posts to me or Blaine Anderson. One of us will broadcast it for you. Hopefully this increased communication between Newcomers will assist with the day-to-day tribulations of living in the Port.

That said, I... [A deep breath.] I'd like to add something else to this. I've been considering creating a support group of sorts for those who have lost people here in the Port, to the Darkness or otherwise. I'm not a therapist by any means, but just to have a group of people with similar experiences to confide in... I think it would be beneficial for a lot of us. I was thinking the Newcomer Memorial might be a nice place to hold meetings. If anyone is interested or has any suggestions, feel free to let me know.

[Pause.]

The Darkness is... It's a lot of things. I'm aware of its origin, literally, but... I sort of think of it as the opposite of It Gets Better. It's everything in the world that no one can escape, those evil things that happen to good people, the absence of light and hope. It can't ever go away, but we can choose to live above it. So please, if you can...consider making a video to contribute to our project. We all have our differences, but when you break it down, we are all in this mess together. Let's start acting like it.

[Godric is on your screen, half bent over with his fangs popped and blood dripping down from his chin down his chest. He's shirtless and in the room of someone. It's dark but there's dark stains behind him and he's probably lying in a fair bit of it.

There's a maniacal look in his eye. Something has awoken and it's old. Gone is the sad, tired look of a sixteen year old ancient. Instead he is lusting after all he's kept inside for nearly a century.]

I grow bored already. [Said in a thick accent over his fangs.] I thirst for more.

[It's not so much a challenge. He's two thousand years old. Siren's Port, get ready for a blood bath.]

I want to start out by apologizing to all the people who worried about me when I left my apartment without letting my friends know where I had gone. Instead of facing my problems head on I ran and others got dragged into the mess. I wanted to thank everyone who offered to look for me and to apologize for putting anyone in danger. The last thing that I wanted was for people to be out in the Darkness looking for me.

I also really wanted to apologize to everyone at Purgatory for disappearing. All of you have given me an opportunity I would never have had back home and I am and always will be extremely grateful for that. I need to figure out what I'm doing now, and how much trouble I'm in for bailing on you.

I know some of you will be expecting me to talk about what happened between me and Kurt, but I'm not going to go into detail. We're not together anymore and the details of what happened are between him, me and our close friends. Thank you for everyone who stepped up to help him during this.

I've been thinking a lot about what I'm going to do now. I still don't really know.

I've been in a pretty dark place for a while. I never wanted it to come out this way but it did. Now all that I can do is face the consequences of my actions and hope that the people I've hurt can heal now that I'm no longer in their lives.

This weekend things got really, really bad. I wanted to talk about it. This will probably get a little long, and intense, and I don't expect anyone to read it. I just wanted to share considering how things are for kids here and back home. I feel like I need to get this out and all of you are free to say what you will about it.

I am not expecting sympathy.

[Hi y'all, it's Chuck, looking happy as fuck (probably because of the glass in one hand) and a little awkward with a cross drawn on his forehead. That would make sense, it being Ash Wednesday, except he's Jewish.

And it's drawn in what appears to be aftershave.

Chuck clears his throat after a moment, his smile fading a little as he addresses the camera.]

So, Ash Wednesday. I know we all had an awesome time last night for Mardi Gras, but it's time to serious up.

We're all giving up something for Lent, right? Maybe we should take some time to just sit down and really reflect on the sacrifices we make as a symbol of J-dizzle's three-day party bus to the afterlife.

[He says this all with a complete deadpan look of perfectly serious religious contemplation.]

If you don't know what I mean, take me as an example. This year, I'm giving up religion and Communion for Lent. [Yes. The Jew is giving up Communion. So serious, you guys, the most serious. He swirls the vodka around in his glass, then takes a pensive sip.] Sticking with white wine and Zin for a month won't be easy, but someone has to do it.

[When the feed turns on, Finn looks a little more somber than he had during his other network posts. Spending a few months home, thinking you're free, just to be dragged back here will do that to a person, he'd guess. He's sitting outside, just outside of the apartment where ~~he hopes~~ he's still staying with Santana and Quinn. It's starting to get a little darker outside, but the sirens haven't gone off yet. He's still got time to get inside. It's not like he's trying to get himself killed in by Darkness monsters or anything. He's a little depressed, but not like that.

Finn's actually about to just shut off the feed and, you know, forget he ever started this whole thing. But he's actually going to make this post worth his own time or... something] It kinda sucks that I think I like it better here right now.

[Hello people of Siren's Pull, have someone who has been something of a phantom on the network for the most part in his time here. But he turns on the feed because he has something of great importance to bring up, and it has nothing to do with Valentine's Day.

He looks tired and pale, but completely intent on this post like it's the most serious thing ever.]

As some of you may have heard, it seems Crowley's hellhound is going to have puppies. He doesn't desire to go through the effort of training them even to be sold, but has agreed that if it can be made worth the effort or others can assist, he will allow them to live.

[Castiel generally doesn't care about most things or people dying, really. Especially not monsters. But hellhounds are different; or rather, this particular hellhound's puppies are different.]

Those of you who have any experience in training animals, particularly supernatural ones, or possess abilities that may be of use in this and are willing to attempt training them, compensation can be decided upon, potentially including one of the puppies themselves.

Also, if anyone who would be interested in purchasing one, pricing can be discussed.

[There. Castiel's keeping a puppy either way, Crowley's bitching be damned, but there will be many others that need homes. 8|]

[Guess what, Siren's Port! Finn Hudson is not coming to you with a question, for once. At least not yet. Nope, instead he's probably just going to end up embarrassing himself. It's not like he hasn't done this in front of a lot of people before, or anything. But, this is different or something]

I don't know how Rachel used to do this everyday then, you know, post it online and everything. I mean, I doubt that many people saw it her videos, because it's not like anyone even uses MySpace anymore, but whatever, I guess. Um... [He trails off as he moves to prop the NV up against his headboard. He clears his throat, then starts to sing this song]

[When the song ends, for a long while the only sound in the room is Finn's breathing. Yeah, that was just as awkward as he thought it would be] It'd probably sound a little better with music or something but I kinda have to work with what I've got and, you know, music isn't really one of those things right now.

[He figures that Rachel would appreciate the big show of affection. And for anyone who doesn't like Valentine's Day? Well, it's a nice song. Enjoy it!]

[the NV turns on to show Rachel in all her... well, she's dressed up a little bit, as much as Rachel can dress up anyways, and she's placed her NV on a table so that she can sit across from it, her arms and legs both crossed]

My boyfriend-- you probably know him, his name is Finn Hudson and he's kind of cute and a little weird and really, really tall-- asked me to move in with him last week. I just... we want to make sure that we have enough money, and I really love living with Kurt and Blaine, they're great roommates, I think they need to be alone sometimes, but...

[and a pause because she was nervous and kind of distracted herself-- this isn't anything like acting or singing or performing at all, because now she has to try to do this the right way]

Anyways, I need to find a job around here? I don't know what my power is or anything like that, but I'm very, very good with performance arts and-- I haven't graduated from high school yet, but I was about to finish my junior year back home, so I'm pretty smart, too, if there are any jobs that need that kind of thing.

So, does it snow like that here often? 'Cause, I mean, if it does, then I guess I could be a little better prepared, you know? Warm clothes and stuff. Probably could stock up on food too. [That last bit is sort of mumbled to himself]

Speaking of clothes and food and stuff -- plus, I don't wanna be a freeloader too much longer -- I think it's probably time I got a job or something. This is probably gonna sound stupid to some people, but I'm not even sure where to start looking. I mean, I'm not even really sure what I'm good at, as far as job skills and things go. Well, I know what I'm good at and everything, I'm just not really sure how it would apply or anything.

[He lays the NV on his bed next to him, so it's just pointed up toward the ceiling now. It's not a bad ceiling. Finn's spent a lot of time looking at it]

I feel sorta useless and changing that would be kinda nice.

[ The video starts at an angle, propped up against something but, due to her height, she's still more or less at eye level with it. Her hair is up in a bun, her bangs styled neatly over her forehead. Her current temp job would run for a few more days, until the permanent secretary came back from an unplanned vacation. Her outfit was simple, nothing that would stand out in a normal office. Which, thankfully, this was. ]

It's been a pretty interesting start to the year so far, I'd say. Getting snowed in at the mall, homicidal robots, and that bomb at the apartments. It's amazing how people can go to work the next day like nothing happened.

And expect others to do the same. I don't know how much longer I can keep doing this 9 to 5 thing. [ She gives a half-assed smile at the half-assed joke. Not her actual hours, just more of a general work comment. She's cool. ]

But I guess I should be lucky to have a job, no matter how boring it is. Even if answering phones is the last thing I thought I'd be doing here. [ But damn it all, she needs money bad enough for it to be something she'd do. ]
