[When the feed comes on, it’s pretty clear it’s not on purpose. The screen is mostly looking up at the sky, though the corner of it seems to catch something made of ice. Just off screen, a pair of voices can be heard arguing.]

Get off me, stupid.

No. I like it here. You're comfy.

[An indignant huff.] Well, you're not. Move; I can't do anything like this.

You don't have to do anything. Just lay there and stay still. [Sounds of shuffling.] Is that better?

No. You know I hate that. I said get off, Bedwetter.

My bed's been dry for AGES!

Only because you've barely been in it the past two weeks. [A sound like there’s some sort of physical struggle going on.

[And then a thud.] Ow! Shirou-chan, you're being too rough!

[The feed cuts about here, perhaps fortunately.]

[[OOC: Forward-dated to early tomorrow morning because we are horrible people who can't wait. Friends and trolls everywhere come and embarrass them. Hinamori is purple, and Hitsugaya is green. Anyone who gets shown the ice scuplture will see this.]]

[Hinamori's sitting in Siren's Flowers, wearing a purple woven yukata with her hair done up nicely and decorated with flowers. She looks likes she ready to go out for a day of festivities—and that's because she is!]

Good morning, everyone!

I've been informed that today is celebrated various places in the world as May Day, which is a celebration of the coming of spring. There are a lot of different traditions surrounding it, one of which is the secret giving of flower baskets to friends and neighbors. Another is dressing up and dancing around a Maypole, which is a tall pole decorated with flowers and often ribbons.

In honor of that, Siren's Flowers is sponsoring a May Day festival today by Winthers Lake. There will be free food and drinks, traditional dances—and don't worry if you don't know how, there'll be lessons every hour—and we're also giving out free May baskets for you to take home and leave on your neighbors' doorsteps!

There will also be flowers and gifts for sale—the shop will be closed today since everyone will be at the lake. We'll be celebrating all day, finishing up with a big bonfire this evening. You're all invited, so come out and join us!

[The NV goes flying across the room and flips on to show Hinamori in her new apartment, yelling at a greeter. Her voice is rising steadily, and she's now somewhere between screaming and tears. She looks tired, exhausted, as though she's already been through more than she can bear.]

-- ANY of this! I don't WANT an apartment! I don't care how long for! I don't want your device, your clothes or your charity -- I just want to GO! HOME! Why can't you seem to UNDERSTAND that!?

[ There's a muffled response from the greeter, who can't be heard from the NV's position (since he's NOT yelling).]

But... WHY?! Why am I here? Why can't I go home? Why- why- I don't... understand...

[Hinamori's frustration boils over, and she brings her hands to her face as she starts to sob. The greeter leaves, and Hinamori slumps to the floor of her kitchen.]

I don't... understand... any of this.

[The feed stays on. She'll just be waiting there, face in her arms, until people start talking to her or she falls asleep, whichever comes first.]
