[It's Doctor Tenma! Big smiles all around for everyone.]

It's been a long time since I've been on the network! I'm sorry everyone, I've been working a lot, lately... I'm sure everyone remembers when some people changed into different genders! Well, we had a lot of people come to SP General, to, you know... [He makes a gesture that probably doesn't explain anything.]

But we're getting a lot of new people here, again. I haven't had a chance to say hello, so, I'm saying hello now. [Smiles.] I'm Doctor Kenzo Tenma, I work at SP General Hospital, and I'm also one of the doctors at the Newcomer Clinic. [There's a small hesitation for the next part.] I'm also a doctor for AGI. So, if you decide to work for them, they'll probably send you to me for a physical. Just... call up my NV any time, and we can set up an appointment!

[Always awkward the first time, but whatever.] I'm looking for some new, regular patients. I know, doctors don't usually advertise that they want more patients, but a lot of my regulars have... gone home, I guess you could say, and I know some Newcomers are happier to have someone like them take care of them. [He grins.] And maybe SP General needs to have an edge over Skye Medical, and Doctor Yumeno keeps poaching patients...

[That was a joke.] But I'd also... I'm trying to start doing things. In my free time. Instead of just working all the time... if anyone has any suggestions? On hobbies, or things to do, places to meet new people... besides cooking! I'm a really, really terrible cook. [A pause.] And singing, too. I can't sing or cook. Not that... anyone needed to know that...um.

That's-- ah, well, that's it! Thank you!

[He meant to turn this on voice, but he's so used to video that he puts it on that. Tenma doesn't notice it at first; he looks worried, even a little scared. He's sitting in the cafeteria of the hospital, but his place of food is untouched, and he looks like a mess.]

I...I'm unsure of what to do with a problem I have. It's not really something I can let everyone know, but I...

[He stops, looking down at his NV. He realizes then that it's on video, and he attempts a smile, but it doesn't seem to really work.]

There's so much good in this city. I know so many people who are honest, decent people. But then there's people who hurt just for the sake of hurting. They think that the lives of some people are worth more then others. That's what those people did, when they manufactured that virus. They thought... [He breaks off, sucking in a breath.]

Has anyone been forced to make a decision that they don't think is right? But when I mean forced, it's being given a choice between two things, both of which aren't good. You don't have to do it, but if you don't do it, it could have consequences for people.

This is almost worse then back home...

I guess I...don't know what to do. I took an oath to help people. That's what we as doctors do. I never signed up to hurt anyone, that's not what I would ever want to do.

[Two very familiar doctors are at the Newcomer Clinic, which has recently been stocked with lots of boxes of syringes, non-latex gloves, blankets, tissues, and the standard issue hospital masks. Doctor Tenma has a mask around his neck, something that he could easily pull up for the next patient. There’s some gloves hanging around his stethoscope, too, the same with Doctor Yumeno.]

I think everyone knows by now that there’s some kind of virus going around. It presents itself like the flu, and it’s spreading pretty fast.

[Tenma looks at Daedalus, who looks at the camera.]

We're here to advise you on the basics. Stay rested and well-hydrated, this is especially important if you are losing fluids to fever or vomiting. Acetaminophen or ibuprofen can be used to reduce a fever.

[Tenma moves one of the boxes aside, a package filled with prescription bottles.]

From what we’ve heard, there might be a shortage of these drugs at local pharmacies. We do have some supply here at the newcomer clinic, if you need to stop by. If fever lasts for longer than 3 days, or if you begin coughing up blood, give one of us, or the Clinic, a call.

[Daedalus gives a small nod at the camera, hands folded on the table.]

If your temperature rises above 104°F, you'll want to come to the emergency room at either Siren's Port General, or Skye Medical Center. Skye's walk-in clinic is open even during darkness, but...it's very crowded now, you can expect to be waiting for several hours. If you're not experiencing severe symptoms, it's probably a better idea to stay home and in bed.

Please be careful to avoid heavily congested public places, such as public transportation, the mall, stadium, movie theaters, all of those kind of things. Be sure you're washing hands, especially before preparing or handling food.

[Tenma points to the mask around his neck.]

Also, it might be wise to pick up one of these hospital masks, so if you go into a crowded place, it’s just an extra protection against breathing in any germs. We have a lot of boxes of them at the Clinic, so if you want, you can stop by and pick one or two up.

[Daedalus speaks up again.]

As of right now, SERO's Disease Control Division has noted symptoms surfacing rapidly among many newcomers and local citizens alike, over the past 48 hours. They have advised that hospitals treat this as an outbreak-level threat. They are the Island's leading source of information on epidemiology breakthroughs, and we at SPGH and Skye are receiving hourly developments from each of the hospitals, which are in open communication with one another.

We'll be keeping you updated with relevant information as it develops on our end, if we can beat the news media to it. We'd also like to be aware of the resources available to newcomers. You can come here to the clinic for basic over-the-counter medical supplies. We've purchased them in bulk, and have them here, so you can skip the lines at the drug store.

[Tenma smiles reassuringly at the camera.]

We’re not trying to scare you or anything by all of this, by the way. We just want to keep everyone healthy, so if you need anything, you can call any of the doctors from the Newcomer Clinic, or myself, or Doctor Yumeno, 24/7. That's all we have for now, so be safe, Siren's Port!

[Nina is already giggling quietly as she turns on the video feed. Three-quarters of the screen reveals Tenma, who is wearing a rather interesting apron and concentrating very, very hard on something he's making in the kitchen. The rest of the screen is taken up by the wall behind which Nina is hiding.

She begins to whisper her narration into the NV.]

And here is the good doctor in the middle of surgery. It's a rare and difficult operation, and his first time ever performing it! Let's hope there are no complications.

[Tenma is moving around the kitchen, a mixing bowl in one hand and a wooden spoon in the other. He's humming something indistinct for right now, and he does this dance where he does a little jump on one foot then the other to the tune.]

Oh! It looks like the doctor is performing a good luck ritual. Who knew surgeons could be so superstitious? Or maybe he's warming up for the difficult effort ahead.

[Now he's doing a little butt wiggle, then what looks like the Thriller side step shuffle, waving the spoon in the air for a second, before pouring the mixture in the bowl into a pan.]

This is very difficult work we're watching. Each step of the operation is performed with infinite care, yet many patients don't make it through surgery! But Doctor Tenma is the best. This one has a chance!

[He hesitates then, picking up the pan and looking around, unsure what he's supposed to do now. Does he put the pan into the oven? Yes. Yes he does. So he opens the oven, putting the pan in, and shutting the oven door. He goes back to dancing, sashaying his way over to where he put the cook book.]

Watch him move with confidence. This is a doctor you can trust with your life. If the patient lives through the day, it's because of him. But the operation isn't over yet!

[He starts singing louder, and now the lyrics can be heard.]

I believe in miracles where you from
You sexy thing (you sexy thing-you)
I believe in miracles since you came along
You sexy thing.

[He sings these pretty loud, seeing as he doesn't know anyone is watching this. At the same time, he's checking the cook book.]

Where did you come from baby?
How did you know I needed you?
How did you know I needed you so badly?
How did you know I'd give my heart gladly?
Yesterday I was one of the lonely people...
[He goes back to humming.]

It looks like the surgery might be a success! Everyone applaud the best surgeon in Siren's Port—Doctor Tenma!

Kiss me you sexy thing.
Touch me baby you sexy thing.
I love the way you touch me darling.
You sexy thing-you sexy thing-you sexy thi--
[Tenma stops singing, looking at the cook book in horror.] I need eggs!?

[Oh no! He runs back to the oven, opening it quickly and grabbing the cooking sheet he had put in; unfortunately, he forgot that it was hot at this point, and so, burning himself on the sheet, he drops it quickly, everything splattering to the floor as he turns around and now sees Nina with her NV.] Oh! I didn't see you-- Nina? ....Is that your NV? .... Have you been filming this!?

Uh oh! Sudden complications arose! But that's all right, everyone, the next operation is sure to be a success!

[Tenma stares kind of bug eyed at the camera, because oh god how many people saw this!?]
