[Having a good morning, Siren's Port? Here's a little more cheer for your day as the video starts with a single large green eye staring quite intently into the feed before Nyaruko leans back suddenly with a wide grin.]

Everyone! Guess what, guess what, guess what?

I have traveled through time! I'm actually in the future! You know, I always knew that it was possible but I never really thought about wanting to travel through time because I really do like all the current shows that we have here and having to marathon through things may be fine and all, but it feels like cheating to not watch the episodes as they come out. You know that feeling, right? Like rooting for your favorite teams because you just have to root for them as they're playing and not watch some rerun of the game several months later!

[She presses her face far too close to the camera feed again and grabs at unseen sides, inciting what sounds like nervous squeaking from... somewhere and it seems like the NV itself is trying to back away from her nervously. Nyaruko herself looks far too gleeful to be upset about missing all those months.]

But see~ I was just working on a few of my recipes a little while ago and suddenly I'm back at the baseball diamond! And it's Valentine's Day! This does mean I'm late in making chocolates, but at least there are new shows to watch~ New seasons! New specials! I have so many shows and games to catch up on! But most of all, I have this to announce and add to my extensive list of abilities...

[She backs off so her profile can be seen rather than just an eye or part of her cheek, and coughs rather demurely into a fist before striking an extravagant pose worthy of the statement she's about to deliver.]

You know, hearing so many people talk about Father's Day and whether they want to thank their dads for always being awesome or not thank them because they're somehow jerks who are never there [Not that she's listened to the in-between] and then all those observations about people who have lost their parents and all really got me thinking.

It's not Father's Day anymore, so there's going to be another 364 days before it comes around again. But that doesn't mean that kids won't need fathers until then! And some of you do have those really amazing dads and kudos to you for that~

But for those of you who want someone who'd... oh, I don't know: go fishing with you, I guess. Teach you hunting. Share porn. Watch sports.

[There's a breath as she carefully composes herself. Has she actually started up some type of Big Brother program, maybe...? Wouldn't that be nice.

Instead, it looks like she's revving herself up for some happy announcement.]

I volunteer to be your father for the year!

I can't say I'd be amazing because I've never tried my hand at it, but I promise I'll do my absolute best!

[She's waited so very long to make sure that everyone was all better from that strange illness, isn't she the best? You do not know the depths of her patience to not afflict herself on everyone and attempt to cheer them up from their sickness with extravagant activities and gestures.]

Did anyone see the crop circle on the news? That looked so cool! I wonder who did that~ whoever it was is a really good artist. So hello, everyone! I'm Nyaruko Yasaka and I've been here for nearly a month now, and I hope everyone's feeling much better now!

First off, so I've been about and I was wondering about the job situations here~ Is anyone hiring? [And on a quick subject swerve...] I wanna be a bounty hunter! How do I sign up for that, anyway? And, and, and! So there's a festival these few days? [The block party, anyway.] Does anyone else want to go with?

Oh! And is anyone looking for a roommate? I've been seeing all those eviction notices lately and I'm not up yet, but it's either that or recruit people and I don't know that many people around here yet? Unless there are people who don't mind being recruits even if I don't know what the difference is between either of the notices...?

Hello, citizens of Siren’s Port!

[There is a face nearly pressed up against the camera, a large blinking green eye at first, and then she pulls back a little to reveal an excited grin. It’s a cute little girl with fluffy silver hair and round cheeks.]

I heard that you have a monster problem here and I, Nyarlathotep, have come to help!

[Give her a moment as she strikes a cute superhero pose that may look familiar to some people. The pose doesn’t last long, though, before it’s dropped and she cups her face, cheeks red with faux embarrassment.]

Now you’re all probably either wondering what I can possibly do to combat the Darkness, or for the more well-read out there, wondering if I am who I claim to be! For the people who can’t pronounce that name, you can all call me Nyaruko (or Nyaruko Yasaka, because that last name belongs to the boy of my dreams!), and I’m here to provide services to combat your Darkness! You see, I’ve been sent by the Space Defense Agency to keep Earth safe, and wow, they never told me about this place and how much trouble you guys seem to have gotten into! I’ve never seen such a large infestation in my life-- in fact, I’m surprised that you’re all still alive still, and some people have been here their whole lives?

[She looks so very excited by that concept, face pressed against the camera again.]

Well, I’m here to help you fight the Darkness and in the meanwhile, I’d like to hear all about your adventures here! And I’d like to know where all your video shops are. I know renting is a little outdated, but I never thought I’d end up in a new area that wouldn’t accept my reward points. How many shows do the local channels carry, anyway? Ooooh, are there any shows exclusive to this place alone? Books? Comics? I want to know all about it!
