[The feed opens up to Kairi's room. The redhead is sitting on her desk, looking contemplative as she taps her lips with a pen. She's quiet as if thinking about why she opened up this feed in the first place, before speaking.]

I've been here for a year now.

Well, the actual date was about two weeks ago, but I only realized it today. I just find it odd. A year ago, I wanted nothing else than all of us to be together and to be finally able to go home again.

[She smiles and tucks the pen behind her ear, resting her chin on her hands.]

But this place counts as much as home now. We're all together and I met various people and learned so much, watched friends come and go. So far I haven't been sent back home-home yet. But I guess at this point it doesn't really matter where I am. Home's where I got the people important to me, right?

[She laughs and lounges back, stretching her arms above her head.]

I'm not sure why I posted this I guess... I just wanted to say thanks to everyone.

[She pauses, looking pleased to finally get that out, before leaning to look at something that's probably next to the camera.]

Hm, my hair's getting long-- oops, oh right, I better get those out of the oven.

[The feed shuts off. Later on, there's text.]

By the way, Halloween's coming up again, huh?

[Private to Friends]

I made cupcakes. If anyone wants some, just drop by!

[The feed starts up to a a table filled with lace, ribbons, red paper and a few tiny roses. Possibly a scissor and some tape added to the mix, with Kairi humming somewhere off screen. After a while, she picks the NV up, showing what she was working on.

There's a small pretty bowl filled with candy hearts, resting on a circular piece of paper trimmed with lace, and a ribbon wrapped around it with rose buds at the center of the knot. Kairi's voice comes on.]

Mm, not sure if it works good enough, since I'll have to run it by the boss, but I might as well get opinions on it. Is it too fancy or too plain as a centerpiece for tables on Valentine's day?

[It made sense. Decorating a coffee shop for Valentine's would rake in crazy profits. She switches the view back to her, munching meditatively on a candy heart as she tilts her head to one side.]

... and I was curious on how some people here actually celebrated Valentine's day. Like... do you guys give chocolate to your closest friends, or just for a special someone?
