NEWS
- SPU’s Computer Science Department Under Fire For Tech Mayhem!
SPU’s entire Computer Science faculty and a select honors group in the department’s graduating class of majors have been arrested and taken in for further questioning as collaborative suspects for the electronic terrorism that has been plaguing the city over the past week.

The Sector 3 precinct and university officials have offered limited details on raid, which included the confiscation of over $400,000 worth of school property (hard drives & other computer equipment). Witnesses were shocked to see over 35 individuals leaving campus this afternoon in squad cars. Half of these suspects were released shortly before evening sirens, but not before SERO’s Chief Executive Officer of Software Design offered to post bail offers on students with the most promising senior projects in progress.
Some are already saying the police have made a huge mistake, and that the students are definitely innocent of the mass conspiracy hacking “prank” they’ve been accused of. Whatever tipoff police have received was erroneous, likely due to circulating network rumors about the close-knit ‘elite’ of SPU’s programming program. One inside source notes that the SPPD has been under pressure from Chief Miller to solve this case quickly, but that surely she will be weeding out the ranks heavily following this embarrassment.
- NEW TO-GO SELF-HEATING SOUP CUP PRODUCT AVAILABLE!
SERO has just released a line of single serving hearty soups and stews in a disposable container which is self-heating with the pull of a simple activation strip, cooking the soup throughout and retaining a hot temperature for up to an hour. Already confident with projected sales, SERO also announced that it would no longer be importing Campbell's Soup-to-Go or Nissin Instant Cup Noodles as of Mid-October, effectively monopolizing the market with its own local brand. Independent entrepreneur of Food Truck Stu's Stew's, however, claims he'll continue to ladle up healthy competition.
SERO Soup2Go has a demo station featured prominently at all island supermarkets and SEROnex Pharmacies this week.
