You know, back at home I've probably dealt with a whole crap ton of situations way worse then the Newcomer hunt, thing was, you could always move around and see some new place after you blew the place up. You know take a little change of scenery or whatever. Good job torching that place folks, about time we gave them the old middle finger salute.

Since I'm feeling generous, and a lot of you folks kind of suck, with the beating people in the face deal, I'll offer free of charge some lessons in the sacred art of kickassfu, of which I am a master.

- 5-year-old falls in Winthers Lake, rescued by unknown entity?

Samuel Belford, 5 years old, was rescued this afternoon by an unidentified creature in Winthers Lake. According to his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Belford, the family was out on a picnic when Samuel wandered too close to the edge of the water. He fell in, but before his parents could do anything about it, the child was lifted by the water itself and deposited on the shore.

“It was incredible!” Mr. Graham said. “The wave looked exactly like a giant hand!”

The story was corroborated by a few other witnesses, but as of this moment, authorities have been unable to determine whether something truly is living in the lake or what it may be.

[ Jesse is in his pajamas the next time he makes a broadcast. He doesn't feel like going outside - and he hasn't ever since he got out of the hunting grounds. Looking downcast but thoughtful, he looks like a completely different person from the boy of earlier broadcasts. He looks a little older and really tired.

Right now he's sitting on his bed, the head of the puppy on his lap, dozing peacefully and blissfully unaware of his master's discontentment. ]

What does it take for you to realize you made a bad choice? Or a right one?

[ It's a sobering question and one that shouldn't be asked in the morning, even if it is late. ]

[ Good afternoon, everyone. Please, enjoy your view of one Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing, standing in the kitchen of the Stoker Manor, her blazer off, white sleeved shirt covered by the... pink apron she's wearing.

What is she doing, you might ask? She's attempting to cook, and by the looks of the kitchen, which is now a complete and utter DISASTER, she's not doing well.

Grumbling something, the heiress simply stares over at the stove, watching as the water she put on it just sort of boils over, along with the stupid spaghetti she put in it far too early. She continues staring for a moment, as though she really can't believe that this is happening, before she finally moves to turn the stove off.

In the process, however, she steps in some of the water that has boiled over onto the floor [fortunately, she's got shoes on!] and slides across it, having to rather ungracefully grapple onto the counter top to stay on her feet. This also sets off a chain reaction; a few of the jars that were on the counter are knocked down, crashing loudly onto the floor, sending whatever was in them splattering all over the place. ]

For fucks sake-- [ Fortunately, it is at this point the feed decides to end. ]

[Diego is sitting at his desk at the prosecutor's office. There is a large stack of paperwork in front of him. He picks up the top sheet, casually sipping his coffee with his other hand.]

Thirteen suspects. Let's add it up.

One hundred and thirty counts of willful destruction of property. Twenty-six counts of arson. Ninety-one counts of assault, twenty-six counts of assault with a deadly weapon and thirteen counts of assault by misuse of powers. And last but certainly not least, fifty-two counts of manslaughter.

[A long sip of coffee.]

Now all I need is names.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm all back to normal now. Um, thank you for everyone who was concerned or offered to help. It really does mean a lot.

[Still, despite that good news, her voice doesn't very relieved or happy. It doesn't sound sad, either; it's carefully neutral instead as she moves on.]

That's not really all I wanted to say, though. For anyone who knew Davesprite while he was here, he's gone home. He was, um, the orange boy with the wings. The timing seems pretty bad, I know, but I'm sure he wasn't in the hunt, so nobody should worry about that. I called and it kept ringing, so... For what it's worth, though, I'm sorry to all the friends he had here.

I guess that's all I really had to say.

Uh. Anyone wanna help out with an open mic night tomorrow? I don't think I'll be making it. Which is probably bad, since it's my bar. Don't worry though, the barmaid is really great. I'm sure she'll...make drinks. She just might need some help with everything else.

(OoC: Yosuke has been planning an open mic night fundraiser to re-open The Cat's Eye after Rain's and Fai's departures. He sent an ad in to the paper and everything...but he was abducted for round two of the Newcomer Hunt and he's not feeling up to playing host yet. Possibility of a permanent job at the bar for anyone who responds and works out alright!)

[Alice is much less House-shaped than the last time she addressed the network. However, her normally buttery yellow eyes have a noticeable red tinge to them.]

This whole Hunting Grounds incident has been awful. People died in there. This isn't how we're going to get recognition and respect in the city.

[She looks down, looking noticeably upset.]

I'm going to be putting forth $5,000 along with the Sanguinarian Society as a reward to find the perpetrators. A member of their family was among the dead there. I know how much it hurts, it's the least I can do.
