- The City's Water Treatment Plant is finally back up and fully operational after Sunday's disaster. Reconstruction efforts are making quick recovery for Upper Sector 4. The rail transit line returns to regular service schedules today, although Stations 29-31 remain closed for further repairs.
- Lake Versaid Park Presents: Summer Jazz Festival & Water World, all weekend long at the park. This just occurred to me, but how about a fair of sorts as summer is kicking up to high gear? Water slides and diving platforms will be erected, along with an underwater moonbounce and pedal boat bumpercars, with a cardboard boat race sunday afternoon. Live performances at the bandshell by featured local jazz groups run all weekend long, from Solo Artists to Trios and Big Bands! Come out and plan to spend the day!

4pm- Swing Dancing Lessons
5pm- Guy Lombardo Tribute Band
