Remarkable. The sheer amount of comradeship in this city. It's almost heartwarming, I suppose.

There seems to have been a great deal of loss. I've heard mixed reports about the dead here, whether they return or not, and yet everyone mourns still. Understandable- the loss of a friend is a terrible thing, but I have simply one question.

Tell me, what would you do if you realized that none of this was real? Hypothetical, of course. If that's too difficult for you to think about, then consider this option. Should we ever be allowed to leave this place and staying were not an option, what would you do?

The idea is simple, really. How much is the life you've built here worth to you?

Three things.

1: If anybody has experience dealing with the school system here, I'd love to talk to you. I'm trying to get started on enrolling a child for September, and any help or advice would be so appreciated. It's a real hassle.

2: Sam Winchester has left the island. I won't say he's gone, because he was gone a long time ago.

3: Does anybody have the power to turn a cat blue? Without dyes or hurting the cat, please.

News

- In spite of police warnings against venturing outside into the shadows, the paper is full of reports of fatalities involving the daylight Darkness. One such article highlights the bizarre death of a Newcomer boy named Ritsuka Aoyagi. Fifteen-year-old Aoyagi was found dead yesterday, outside a shadow-infested alley in Sector Five, having been severely mauled by Darkness creatures. In spite of having escaped the shadows, the boy quickly died from the injuries.

The St. Thomas Academy student was witnessed conversing with a few classmates outside of a bubble tea shop three blocks away from where the boy was ultimately found, two or three hours before the body was discovered. The manager of the bubble tea shop noted with some concern that it did not seem to be a happy exchange, but could not provide further information on the other students at the scene, though she believes that they may have left with Aoyagi.

Authorities are asking any witnesses, especially St. Thomas Academy students, to please step forward with any details concerning Aoyagi's final moments. At this time, the death has been ruled accidental - a cautionary tale to those who might treat the shadows too lightly.

Ritsuka Aoyagi was a bright young man who often contributed photographs to his school newspaper and worked hard at his part-time job at Funtom Toys & Sweets. St. Thomas Academy is considering naming its scholarship for newcomer children, of which Aoyagi was a recipient for two years, after the straight-A student.

[The feed opens up to Deadpool sitting at a table with a few empty bottles of booze, some broken glass. There is a tiredness in his body, slumped over and just kind of sitting there in the shadows. He drags a knife across the desk absentmindedly for a moment]

You know, I wonder what it would be like to live in a bubble. I mean, not individually, but like all together, in some bubbly wubbly place. We'd all be just like... surrounded by softness and rainbows. Instead of citizens or whatever, we'd just be like the bubblefolk, and farm our water and marshmellows.

[He twirls the knife around, and then hurls it across the room into the wall]

Thats not the kind of world we are in here though. Its hard, rough, full of danger. No matter how powerful or trained you are, there are some things which can hurt you here, and people you care about.

[He didn't know if she would be able to recover, but it was for the best for now]

For those of you who do care, Jubilee is dead. She died of wounds sustained during the Darkness and... wasn't able to pull through.

[It was his fault, he should have been faster, quicker, been ready for it, able to stop things from happening somehow. Who knew if these words would come true soon enough?

The feed clicks off]
