Morning sirens go off at 5:12am, and evening sirens are at 9:17pm.
News- Debates are still raging among the city’s historians, core ‘experts’, and SERO’s leading researchers of the darkness decay phenomenon, trying to make sense of erratic darkness ‘patches’ which have been sprouting in sunlight over the past week. The terrifying shadows have resulted in civilian injuries and casualties which are still being totalled. Although the phenomenon did not continue into yesterday’s shadows, city systems are still working on emergency contingency plans to ensure safety throughout the city.
Astonishingly, the darkness appeared to be totally lifted last night for the first time in Siren’s Port’s recorded history. Many took to the streets in celebration, setting off fireworks and marveling at the starry sky. Residents do not know what to expect at siren tonight, but hope that the island’s long curse is finally over. Specialists, however, suspect that a sharp drop in core activity as of this morning indicates that things may be back to normal by this evening.
The city’s siren system is being re-evalutated sector by sector, to improve accuracy for public alerts.
- Eyewitnesses were baffled yesterday by the appearance of creature known only as "The Lion" and the strange procession he led around the island. Reports have since come in detailing that the party went on throughout the night into the early hours of the morning. People have since returned to their homes, and pet owners say dogs and cats who escaped in order to join the event also returned shortly after sunrise. Further investigation at the site itself reveal no traces of what was said to be an exciting event.
There have also been unconfirmed reports that Henry D. Spencer III was spotted in Sector 7 at some point yesterday afternoon, and unconfirmed rumors have circulated that that several revelers were shot with tranquilizers powerful enough to down a horse. No comment was received, however, when an attempt to contact the Hunting Grounds was made.
