-- More Troubles at Wakerose
After the disasters that plagued the Wakerose Manor Museum's opening gala two weeks ago, it seems the mansion's bad luck hasn't run out quite yet. In addition to slamming doors, falling chandeliers and flickering lights, employees of the museum have reported cold chills and ill feelings when walking through certain rooms. Night watchmen have claimed to hear piano music from the upstairs of the house late at night. And Saturday afternoon, three workers were hospitalized with major injuries when a circuit breaker thought to be broken surged back to life while they were trying to repair it.

"It's totally haunted," claimed Sully Bradley, one of the workers, when we spoke to him in the hospital. "I'm never going near that creepy place ever again!"

Despite rumors of ghosts and malevolent supernatural forces, the Siren's Pull Historical Society is still refusing to admit that the museum is anything but an ordinary old house.

"Ghosts do not live in Wakerose Manor!" yelled Susan Martin, President of the SPHS. "The museum is not haunted! I refuse to let all of the Society's hard work fall victim to unfounded superstition and nonsense!"

Martin refused any further interviews, though our investigation suggests that it's under advice from her lawyer. Martin was issued a ticket for harassment on Sunday afternoon after chasing some visitors away from the museum, screaming and cursing at them. The enterprising visitors were attempting to bring an oversized backpack into the house, which was later found to be carrying candles, incense, tarot cards and a Ouija board.

Good morning. My name is Kidou Yuuto. I've come to understand that there isn't a way back to my town currently, so I have to make myself comfortable here.

I grew up in an environment where soccer is very, very important. And from what I can tell, it's not very popular around here.

So, I was wondering if anyone here knew how to play or would like to learn.

I don't expect too many of you are interested. But, I've changed residence. The 'starter' apartments for 'newcomers' was just too, too beastly!

I found a place. It's not what I'm used to, but it's tolerable. The house is old by the standards of this place, but I found it quite comfortable. It's been divided into little flats, and I'm in the second floor in the back west corner.

I did see some rot in the corner of the closet last night, but when I woke up this morning it didn't look so bad. So, I'm not worried.

If anyone is interested in visiting, I'll give you directions. I'm in the Northwest side of sector four, about half a mile from sector 9, and I can walk to the seaside if I want to. And, I like being closer to the school.

After getting settled, I'm finally looking for a job. There's no other way out of this place so I might as well make the best of it, right?

What do I have to offer? I worked for Her Majesty's Financial Action Task Force in my previous life - or "home" as some of you call it - so I deal with stopping money laundering and fraud that funds terrorist organizations.

But I can also do things like accounting or anything with money. What are my options out there?

[Rachel manages to startle herself while poking around at the appliances in her small, starter apartment. With her NV in one hand as she does, it comes as no surprise that she turns it on as she backs away from an exploding toaster.

Obviously, she shouldn't be allowed near a kitchen. It's probably a good thing she doesn't need to eat. There's a moment of her just looking at the counter top -- then at the NV and her head tilts a bit to the side.

It probably shouldn't be on.] Oh. [She fumbles with it, trying to turn off the feed and finally, fed up, tries to turn it off via angel mojo. She only succeeds in blowing up a lightbulb. She looks very put-upon, very frustrated, hiding a thread of fear underneath it. She is not ready to let other know she's here. That choice has been taken from her, because of her own carelessness.

[Byakuya has recovered from being battered by angel reiatsu during the SERO raid. He hasn't complained, merely stayed in his house and recovered from the owie.

However, today, he is in his room, at his desk with papers spread in front of him. He glances up at the feed.]

I am announcing it now, though I have already tendered my resignation. I will be leaving Hawthorne University at the end of this semester.

I bear no ill will toward the university or anyone who remains there. I will, of course, be searching for a new position immediately.
