[Rachel manages to startle herself while poking around at the appliances in her small, starter apartment. With her NV in one hand as she does, it comes as no surprise that she turns it on as she backs away from an exploding toaster.

Obviously, she shouldn't be allowed near a kitchen. It's probably a good thing she doesn't need to eat. There's a moment of her just looking at the counter top -- then at the NV and her head tilts a bit to the side.

It probably shouldn't be on.] Oh. [She fumbles with it, trying to turn off the feed and finally, fed up, tries to turn it off via angel mojo. She only succeeds in blowing up a lightbulb. She looks very put-upon, very frustrated, hiding a thread of fear underneath it. She is not ready to let other know she's here. That choice has been taken from her, because of her own carelessness.

Her loss is still recent, and considering the circumstances of her death, it's both welcome and unsettling to see her face. He missed her, and at the same time, he'd killed her.

He spends some time deciding if he's going to say anything or not, because surely she doesn't want to speak to him if she's arrived after her death even if he misses her. But what if she's from before? And even if not...

They have things they need to discuss, if they're going to be here together.

So, finally, Castiel turns on his feed, though he's certain to make it private. He looks about how she would remember him from the war, tired and stressed and dangerous at the edges, but also less intense than before. He's been through a lot since he'd first arrived here.]

[This was what she'd been afraid of, what she'd not been ready for. This was the reason she'd intended on staying as quiet as possible for as long as possible. Yet, on her second day here, she was facing him, albeit over a video feed.

For that, she was grateful.

It's a long moment before she answers. The feed is active as she takes the NV and moves across the room, sitting slowly in the nearest chair. He's as she remembers him: always exhausted, taking on far too much, and stressed to the point of breaking. She'd tried so hard to help.
