- In Sector 4, much of a city block is nearly in ruins when an earthquake hit that could only be felt within the vicinity of the block. Many people were injured from the falling debris and there are still a few missing. The sector's public library has been hit the hardest, and has been closed for reconstruction, while the surrounding streets and intersections have been cordoned off. Deep cracks appeared in the pavement soon after the earthquake, deep enough to be too dangerous for vehicles to pass over.
However, witnesses say there was a fight inside the library between a young boy around the age of ten to thirteen and a man in his thirties.
"Suddenly I hear some yelling and before I know it, things just start to explode - the desks, the books, everything," library volunteer Hetta Blarght described. "It was like a war zone in there, and then suddenly there's this earthquake and I couldn't see what the man and the kid were doing after that as everything started to fly off the shelves."
Both man and child have yet to be found, and the SPPD has stated the case as ongoing, asking for help from other eye-witnesses.
- Over 65 people are reported missing or dead as something new and terrible has emerged to feast on the citizen’s of Siren’s Port. Some are saying it is humanoid, flesh-eating cannibal with gluttonous predatory powers.
The SPPD released a statement early this morning encouraging residents to stay in their homes rather than braving the entertainment venues of the Darkness hours. Although the mysterious attacks of yesterday morning and further reports of rampaging monsters eating citizens alive throughout crowded commercial areas continued to flood news tickers throughout the day, only some residential areas seem to be taking warnings seriously. The Underground Mall Association has declared it will be staying open, boasting exceptional proofing, and Zips arcade’s security has been tripled since the incident at XXX yesterday.
Rumor has is, the police department has put in a request for Voids from SERO to patrol certain sectors, but as of yet this has not been confirmed.
Soul-Eating Monster Returns?
Attendees of an AGI fundraiser dinner in Sector One were met with a rude shock last night when a large shadow with red eyes was sighted peering at them from out in the Darkness. Though the creature effectively disappeared moments after, a brief snapshot was caught by one of the guest's NVs. Upon further inspection by investigators, the monster in question appeared to be a near-replica if not the same creature responsible for the rash of attacks in October as well as multiple disappearances.
