-Hot New Toy Line, Diversity Pals, Is The Next Holiday Sensation

The newly launched toy line, Diversity Pals, features a cast of multiracial, multi-abled characters who work together as a team to help the community and protect the innocent from the Darkness in their own way. Diversity Pals has been lauded by various consumer and parent publications for its inclusion of not only a deaf character, but a character who has absolutely no special abilities but excellent organization skills and a propensity for invention, as well as being a cancer survivor. The toy line includes action figures and child-scaled costumes and toys, as well as a related video game available for all modern consoles.

The Diversity Pals have been criticized for potentially promoting vigilante ‘superheroes’. Dubbel Inc., a toymaker subsidiary of AGI, insists that is not the case, and that the message of the Diversity Pals is to promote caring, understanding and togetherness, even across company lines. Some political bloggers comment that this is a cynical attempt to grab some SERO-loyal dollars in the guise of promoting tolerance. “If they really wanted to take a risk, they’d have a Newcomer dolly or something like that. But no one would risk angering too many moms, after all.”

Surprisingly, the character Non-Powered Nida is amidst the most popular, and her dolls and action figures have sold out in stores throughout the city. Retailers anticipate that demand will continue to exceed supply as Non-Poweredl Nida becomes the ‘must-have’ toy of the season if only by reputation.

[ So this is an Ella. An Ella on a mission. And that mission, is to take back what was hers. Like her home. But first, pre-emptive things need to be acquired. She's at the table in her apartment with Kyra pacing restlessly. ]

So I've checked a number of flower shops, but I've only been able to get my hands on pretty common flower bouquets. I'm looking for something specific.

Effelwort, or bogweed. Well, bogweed is what I need the most.

Oh! And I also need at least three sprigs of thistlewind - or something comparable. They're herbs for helping someone to sleep for a few hours.

[ Not for her though. She eyes her paper thoughtfully, crossing some things off. ]

Guess that's it - I think there's something called Valerian root that would work too, but according to what I've read it might be a little too strong. [ She didn't want Hattie to pull a Sleeping Beauty. She pauses for a second. ]

Also - does anyone know what happens to the belongings of a person who is sent back home by that Core?

[ Because she's curious if what Hattie said was true ahead of time. But she isn't going to stay long, as she gets to her feet and motions to her wolf. ]
