[Xion is sitting alone in her room, on the empty bed that was once Naminé's. She looks tired and pale- almost a week of bad dreams and sleeping poorly when she did, and her eyes are dull. It has not been a very pleasant two months. She's toying with a silver star pendant around her neck with her free hand as she speaks.]

It's funny... people always say that hearts are strong, that they can stand up to anything and they'll be okay in the end. I know all that, I know if you believe in someone and their heart it's a wonderful thing and it won't steer you wrong but-

If a heart's supposed to be something strong, then how do they break so easily? And why does it hurt so much when they do?

[A man’s voice, louder than it should be.]

Sophie! SOPHIE.

[A man flickers into view on camera. He’s decidedly handsome, well-groomed and dressed, a blue jewel hanging from one ear. One might almost be able to smell a whiff of hyacinth perfume. For a moment he turns the NV over and around in his hands until the viewer just gets a jumble of him – flashes of hair and hands and eyes that are strangely pale, green, reflective like glass. Finally the window comes to rest on him again, and he is glaring.]

Never hire a cleaning lady. If they come nosing their way into your life, boot them out the door, as you value your sanity.

[Hard to say if he knows he’s talking to you. In all honesty, it probably doesn’t matter. He pushes the hair back from his face, handsomely perturbed.]

All right, since there seems to be no immediate way back: I’ll need the nearest junkyard. Preferably magical. Non-magical will do in a pinch, though I’ll have to recreate my notes.

Also: A book of poetry. Promptly.

[Michael is standing in what appears to be a dimly lit park. To some it might not mean much but this space had been his home before and honestly while the location and belongings weren't important, the beings who had occupied it were. He makes his way out of the open expanse where lion cubs once dwelt.]

Gone for five minutes and look at the trouble you all have gotten into while I was away. Well, I suppose it has been a bit longer for all of you but honestly what did you do? Put a giant sign over your heads that asked for a bit of mayhem?

[There's a pause as he enters an elevator, pushing the button for the top floor even though he could just appear in his old apartment. Michael smiles but it's fake -- granted a good job of a fake smile but there's just no twinkle in his eye.]

I guess this is the part where I announce I've returned but I'm fairly sure a few of you knew that already. Now, who wants to fill me in on what I've missed?
