- Tiny Tots Save Feline Friends; Rescued Darkness Cats Reclaimed by SERO!
Every AGI news source is running this lead human interest story today- SERO’s Darkness Research Team came to a Sector 5 residential neighborhood this morning, to collect three of its tracked and micro-chip tagged cats, who are released to wander the streets every night, collecting recorded data about deadly threats outside.
But these lucky cats had been brought inside from the dark the evening prior by a bold and feisty 9 year old named Nora Richards, who was also caring for her twin brother and sister Randy and Sandy, age 4. Their parents, working overnight shifts at SERO Hospital, leave their young children home alone every weeknight!
When SERO scientists arrived to retrieve the cats early this morning, Nora refused to let them in the house and called the SPPD, claiming that the three fostered cats belonged to her family as pets. By the time an AGI affiliate with shoddy NV camera footage was on the scene, men in SERO coveralls were coaxing the cats out of the tearful girl’s arms while brother and sister hugged one another, wailing.
Cute-as-a-button and brassy Miss Nora Richards was all too happy to tell press who soon arrived on the scene about her daring rescue attempt and use of her developing invisibility powers to cleverly evade monsters on her front lawn, as well as give news media a golden soundbyte on her opinion of SERO’s use of ‘kittycams’ for darkness explorations.
The Richards’ parents have declined comment, but the SPPD has assigned the family a child services caseworker after today’s incident. Many are calling on law enforcement to arrest the parents for serious child endangerment, leaving them alone in a home where they can unlatch darkness proofing for themselves and ‘save’ strays from the front yard.
All in all, this story is a public embarrassment for SERO as well as the irresponsible parents of these feline-loving moppets, who have nonetheless charmed the public with their good intentions.
