- Who will be crowned Cutest Kid in Port?
AGI and the Underground Mall Clubs Association join to sponsor The Fall Children’s Fashion and Talent Pageant, held at the Mall’s Memorial Auditorium at 4pm today and broadcast on AGI basic cable’s primetime spot later in the evening. AGI will also be showing short featurettes throughout the day, spotlighting the precious tots and their pushy pageant moms. - The City Fairgrounds is seeking volunteer creative teams with “A Flair for Scare”, to concept and carry out original walkthrough Haunted Houses for this year’s Halloween Festival starting on the 20th of October in Sector 5. The event’s coordinator found himself short handed this year after announcing plans for interactive horror entertainment, when the Sanguinarian Society abruptly withdrew funding.
Spookers with experience in set design, lighting, costuming and monster makeup are in high demand, as well as volunteer actors to frighten guests! This is a great way to showcase your creative talents, put a unique twist on seasonal themes and participate in one of the busiest community festivals of the year. Haunted House creative teams may opt to charge a small ticketed admission fee to fundraise for any non-profit organization or charitable cause.
