- Siren’s Port Annual “Dog Days of Summer” Begins Today!

Grant Stadium filled up quickly today as dogs of all shapes, sizes, and abilities were brought by their owners to compete. The event began today with contestants leading their pets around the arena for perusal by the audience. A few spectators were miffed when some of the participants apparently came with no animals at all, but the the judges assured them, however, that they had, in fact, brought their dogs. Ever since last year’s incident in the news regarding invisible dogs, the owners of the show have made the extra effort to accommodate canines with more unusual features.

[ The feed has been on for several minutes, from the looks of things, with Ella sitting silently on the couch, too shell shocked to say anything. The reason? The living room - and quite possibly many other parts of the house, is a disaster zone. Clawed drapes, everything not nailed down is knocked over and broken, feathers everywhere from destroyed pillows and cushions.

Kyra is sitting in front of her looking rather guilty, though she growls on occasion at something out of view. After a few minutes, Ella straightens. ]

[ She's not touching a thing. Not today, not right now, she was tired and damnit she wanted to relax! Blasted cat. ]

Bad enough that beast got into my room somehow... Xelloss, do you have a minute?

[ Because Ella abruptly gets to her feet and starts for the door, fluffing her hands through her hair. No no no, not thinking about the mess,she's leaving before Hattie gets home because she knows damn well the minute that witch gets in the door, Ella will not get any sleep at all. And once she's outside, she turns her attention to the NV again. ]
