Young Caped Crusaders Back In Action?Siren's Port has seen an upward turn in vigilantism this past week after an alarming surge in day-walking monsters. Would-be superheroes have taken up the task of extermination of new species of monsters, including previously undocumented flying reptiles.
Police, however, question the validity of some of these accounts, including one bizarre incident of a Silverback Gorilla and a boy fighting said monsters in Sector 10, while a half-wolf woman and a giant species of white tiger were spotted downtown.
Not all residents are impressed by the recent show of heroism. "I don't care what they call themselves or whatever fancy feathery getup they've sewn up," says bakery owner Susan Boil. "They're hooligans. They smashed those purple monsters and now there's apple pie all over my store display. If they want to be a real hero, have them come down to my store with a mop so they can clean up their own mess."
In other news, one building scheduled for demolition and an intersection on the corner of San Fernando and Fourth both suffered structural damage several nights ago. Traffic has been redirected until city workers can finish repairing the thirty-foot wide trench.
As for the warehouse, Arthur Bent and fellow city workers have been forced to delay demolition. "Sliced clean through. Like a knife through butter," says Arthur Green, who is responsible for on site safety. "It would've been easier if whoever did this just knocked the whole thing down altogether. What a mess."
No further explanation has been offered by the authorities for either incident at this time.
