- AGI is sponsoring an all-new festival: taste siren's port., featuring small booths run by the finest AGI-owned dining establishments. In addition to dozens of cuisines, and specialty wine, beer, and coffee tastings being readily available, the festival features a unique dining area that features an opportunity to select a 'human table' and eat a variety of pre-selected meals, including sushi, several salads, a dessert course and even a variety of alcoholic drinks, such as wine, sake, and body shots.

AGI is proud to feature special composting stations as well as many readily available, clearly labeled recycling bins in an effort to keep the festival's carbon footprint to a minimum and educate the public toward doing the same.

Unsurprisingly, local celebrity, lingerie model and self-help guru Neveah Knorr is acting as an unofficial spokesperson for taste siren's port., gushing on her blog: "I'm looking forward to having a sexy, delicious time at taste siren's port.! Judy and I are looking forward to checking out the nyotaimori ... Just a bit of fun for us girls! ;)" Entertainment bloggers criticize Neveah for playing coy about her long-term companion, Judy, and attempting to appear single while "going out and looking at naked women" with her.

taste siren's port. will be held at Grand Lenore Auctionhouse. Adults only. Admission, but not food, is free. Formal dress is encouraged but not required.

Friday & Saturday 11 a.m. - 9 p.m.
Sunday 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.

- An anonymous letter to the editor appears in today's paper decrying AGI's tasteless decision to hold a 'sexy food festival' at Grand Lenore Auctionhouse, a place that, up until recently, was a hub for Afterglow Inc.'s bustling slave trade. "They may be trying to prove their seedy past is behind them," the letter warns, "But there will still be slaves working at that event. It's a travesty. SERO may not offer the same bread and circuses, but at least they don't lie about who they are."

- Music Player Glitch Continues to be a Popular Prank
AGiTunes continues to field complaints about a programming error in the latest add-on for a popular downloadable music sharing application, allows users to anonymously send any song in the library to a neighboring NV which has the same music player installed. Over 70% of all NVs available on the market this year have come pre-loaded with this app, leaving many strangers victims of nearby pranksters, who refuse to patch the glitch.

An entire summer school classroom was held after hours for detention today, after no student would confess to making their principal’s NV burst out in “Baby Got Back” while he made rounds.

[The summer warmth seems to have made Tonegawa almost lazy when he appears on-screen, cigarette hanging loosely between his lips, shirt cuffs rolled up. There’s a sleepy confidence to the entire affair, a crocodilian sharpness lurking in still, murky waters.

He doesn’t bother to take it out when he speaks; the result is that his voice sounds huskier than ever, faintly slurred around the cigarette end.]

Let’s play another game. [His hand disappears off camera for a moment, and when it slides back in it’s holding a small, gleaming bronze coin, between his thumb and forefinger.] It’s interesting, isn’t it? How life so often seems to rely on the figurative spin of a coin- that little twist of uncertainty that can, just as often, herald the twist of the knife. [He pauses for effect.] I’m sure you all know this one, but for the record: heads or tails. Pick one. Of course, it’s not that simple.

[The smile appears then, a cool abbreviation of his usual shit-eating grin.] Let’s say, hypothetically, that those who pick the winning side will be rewarded from a fixed pot, which will be shared amongst any winners. Let’s also say that those who pick the losing side will suffer a forfeit. Your victory will inevitably punish those less fortunate than yourself.

There’s one final rule: for a price, I could secretly tell you the winning result and guarantee you a perfect solo victory. You reap all the rewards- and I reap all of the losers you’ve left behind.

[He chuckles silkily.] It’s your choice, Siren’s Port. Heads or tails?

[The screen flickers on to show a young, blonde-haired woman peering into it. Her eyes are wide as she looks transfixed, almost mesmerized, by the device she's holding. She touches the screen, and something happens! Nina has never seen anything like that before.

Behind her, the sky is overcast, and the pitter-patter of light rain can be heard.]

Is this on?

[She seems to be talking mostly to herself, only to realize the device is on! With a startled little "ah!" noise, Nina jerks back, going stiff.]

Oh! Hello! I'm sorry. I've never seen anything like this before. But I should introduce myself, shouldn't I?

My name is [Hesitation. How does she identify herself here? She understands what's happening, but she doesn't know who else could be out there. But the pause doesn't last too long.] Nina Fortner. I've had everything explained to me, and I have to say, I don't like it! Taking people from their homes? Away from everyone they care about? That's not right at all! Not ever, but especially not when some of us have things we have to do back where we came from. "Where we came from"... the idea of other worlds is still weird to me. I don't think I can bring myself to believe this is real.

You know, I think do have a few questions, after all. If anyone could answer them, I'd be grateful. And...

[She seems like she's about to add more, but doesn't.]

No. That's all. Thank you very much.

What do angels mean to you? Miracles, Heaven, the Holy of Holies. Do you have religion back home?

...

What do you believe in?

Today I sat down for the first time.
It was like an orchestra playing the world's most archaically, nauseatingly beautiful refrain devoid of even the most subtle of auto-tunes, a nostalgiatrip back to a time when your wombsack carrier was nothing but a gross shrimpy slime baby shitting her pants and screaming herself hoarse.
Retro as shit, all pipes and organs and screeching violins.
Like fireworks ascending to give a big fuck you finger to voyeuristic gods.
The second my borrowed rump touched the upholstery of our couch I could hear angels clearing their collective throats to serenade me into an endless ass heaven.
It was like magic trickling into the reality slipstream, like all my wildest dreams just legged it the fuck out of my head to offer a stoic nod and a hearty fistbump.
It seems there is a sicktwisted percentage representing the possibility that I am in possession of an ass masterpiece, and that percentage is 100.
Let me tell you about the ass of Jake English, Siren's Port.
Might as well be carved out of marble.
It casts a shadow of shame over the lackluster posterior of my cognitive predecessor.
I'm caught up in all these complicated emotions upon being associated with an ass that is easily bested by even the slightest curved broom handle.

This is Dirk Strider's auto-responder in the body of Jake English, and today I touched a butt for the first time.
It was a religious experience.
