theshortestbird[Look, guys! For some of you, this is a familiar face. He's on the network quite a lot, but never like this! Even his smile looks just a little strained, his hair a little windblown, and his arm in a cast.]
You know, I've been in the city for over a year now, and I haven't actually made my own network post. Ever. It's not that I'm absent from the network, but it feels a little weird, using it like this. First time I've ever used my NV for something like this.
[A laugh.] Anyway, for those who don't know me, I'm Tim Drake. The reason why I'm finally doing this isn't really a good one, unfortunately. I don't know who knew her, but Elaine Belloc has left the island and gone home. [As something like her can. He's really going to miss her presence, actually.] I'm really sorry to tell you guys that, I know she was really closed with a lot of you.
And there's some more news, too. It seems that Elaine left The Lux to... well, to me. [Oh god.] Honestly, I've never run a club before, but for now, all of the current employees, you still have your job! And you're not going to lose it any time soon. But if everyone who works there, full time and part time, if you could let me know? I'm trying to get a general headcount on that. And if anyone was supposed to come in for an interview, or they were looking at the Lux for a job, everything is going normally. That's what we're going with for now.
I guess that's it? I know it's close to the new year, but... if anyone out there knows anything about running a club of some sort? I'm looking for a little bit of help. [He gives a crooked smile.] This is what I get for not making a post yet on this thing, huh? Anyway, I'll leave my NV number here, for anyone who might need it.
