- Along with toasty temperatures yesterday, just the sirens finished blaring early in the morning, the same gold dragon found torching Spencer's Hunting Grounds months ago was sighted again flying over the island. The dragon stayed aloft, circling for nearly an hour, before disappearing into the air.

During the sunny afternoon, spirits were high, beaches were crowded and many reported feeling usually daring and bold in the sweltering heat. The warmth of the day appeared to be bolstering; already there has been discussions of people coming together to help people who are trapped in the Darkness during Christmas night.

This Christmas was a record-breaker for temperatures as well as proposals, as many gathering the courage to propose to loved ones, some engagement rings planned as part of a gift and others completely spontaneous, with makeshift rings make out of twine or plastic.

One man described this elated, boisterous feeling on camera, telling evening news reporters: "I feel like I can take on the world!"

However, overnight temperatures have dropped right back down to frosty, and those who were bright and brazen yesterday are putting away their swimming trunks and hurrying back into several warm layers.
