- The morning news reminds Siren’s Port citizens that today is World Teacher’s Day, so be sure to thank all school teachers, university professors, instructors and older mentors!

- Terror in sector 3, a psychic bit off more than she could chew while trying to contact her husband’s dead mother as an anniversary present. Witnesses say that the psychic got into a fight with the dearly departed, and proceeded to swing at the air around her head, breaking the circle and sending the spell haywire. The house began to collapse in on itself soon after, and while everyone rushed outside to escape the psychic had to be forcibly dragged from her fight with the ghost. Neighbors went to see what the commotion was, and they reported seeing her throwing, what all accounts call, a temper tantrum in the gutter in front of where the house had been, and screaming about how his mother never liked her. Police and an expert were called in to deal with the situation, and though everything is contained, the damage to the house was enough to have it condemned.

[Hawke is in view of his little magical tome of an NV. He has a slightly powerful look to his stride at the moment, and has a couple of bruises visible on his arms and his cheeks. The modern clothes look quite odd on the muscled man, well. Probably not to you but he's not sure about these... T-shirt things. Or these jeans. But who was too judge.]

This place is very odd. These colourful little pieces of parchment constitute money. But I'm unsure of their worth? I have witnessed of course the use of these things by now, but it seems odd that we do not pay with silvers and sovereigns.

[He appears to have about one hundred dollars in his hand. Rolled neatly as he tucks it away in one of his pockets.]

Another thing I've learned whilst being here, is that you can manipulate these pieces of paper without ever having seen them. It's illegal of course, but how ingenious to be a theif without having to do any of the hard bits. I have to say, this technology is an odd blessing I think.
