- Mystery Viral Campaign Continues to Build Anticipation for September 9th
Two weeks ago, we began noticing the bumper stickers in our bus stops, our train stations, subways, cabs, and on street signs, just like we all noticed the graffiti that mysteriously appeared all over the city just a week before that. Now theories about the meaning of "September 9th" (found on all the stickers) are spreading, leading one group of college students to spread a rumor that the vandalism is a warning of an upcoming terrorist attack!

The bumper stickers all bear ominous, cryptic messages about Newcomers and the Darkness, including "They live among us" or "THEY ARE PEOPLE", a popular one. About half of them say nothing but "Darkness People". While the graffiti stuck to cryptic messages such as "Beware the Darkness People" and "we're staying", the stickers go a step further. All of the sticker read either "Hear their voices on 9/9" or simply "September 9th" on the bottom.

These curiosities were brought to public attention by a group of Hawthorne University students who spent Thursday and Friday distributing pamphlets in sectors 1, 4, and 5, theorizing about the Newcomer Conspiracy. The five-page pamphlets focused largely on the recent Newcomer attacks on the Hunting Grounds and SERO buildings, as well as recent incidences of less-publicized property damage. They tie these instances together and use the graffiti and stickers as evidence that somebody in the Newcomer community or possibly affiliated SERO is trying to create fear and warn of an upcoming attack on the Core.

While the students all declined to be interviewed and refused to show their faces, the public NV networks have trended conversations in the last few days about the meaning of these messages, and whether these students have hit on what the original vandals were trying to say. At least one of the students openly claims connections to M.A.N.

Meanwhile, the Newcomer Political Party has denied any connection to the citywide 9/9 tagging, and urges the citizens of Siren’s Port to kindly not generate baseless rumors, continuing to uphold peaceable newcomer relations.

Governor Redgrave, in a passing comment to the press on his way to City Hall yesterday, had nothing to say about the content of the messages themselves, but plenty of grumbling about how much graffiti removal costs are estimated to chip away at the already miniscule city beautification budget.

The origins of the bumper stickers themselves have been tracked to an AGI-affiliated printing store on the lower east side of Sector 1, who asked that their name not be mentioned in this article. One employee confessed that they originally received an order for several hundred similar bumper stickers in early July, but that the order was cancelled at the last minute. -----------------------

[When the video feed flicks on Jenny doesn't speak straight away, the reason for this soon becomes clear when you see that she has one end of a bandage held between her teeth as she wraps it tightly around a wound on her arm which is still bleeding slightly.  Once its completely covered she ties it off and grimaces at the camera.]

So I may have made a few tactical misjudgements when it comes to the Darkness, still initial reconnaissance wasn't completely unsuccessful, nothing disproved the theory that those who were trapped by the Darkness when they died can't be reached.   The beast-like ones just seem savage though, perhaps they're what's keeping the rest trapped?   After all, hate breeds hate.

On a side note if anyone has any experience with Darkness inflicted injuries could you contact me.
