[She's not looking as put-together as she usually is. Her braid is loosening, several strands of hair having escaped the binding. And there is a weary and distinctly melancholy expression in her eyes. It looks like she's had rather a long night.]
[But her own night doesn't matter. As she sits in the relative quiet of the on-call room, there is something that needs to be said, and this is more efficient than making several calls.]
My regrets to inform you all, that as of 9:37PM last night, Kuchiki Byakuya has succumbed to his illness. [Her voice is even and steady, though it's clear she's found this difficult to say. It's never easy when one of your children dies, blood or not, doctor or not.]
[[OOC: Backdated to around 9AM. Anyone who's had ongoing CR with Byakuya in a friendly or professional capacity can see this; Unohana is aware of most of you. So that would mean friends, NPP people, whatever.]]
