- Hold Back the Darkness Bonfire, hosted by local darkness-fighting religious sect The Unitology Fellowship, is holding a revival and recruitment meeting at siren tonight at Dead Horse Cove, keeping all-night vigil on the beach. They plan to send out small groups to slaughter monsters throughout the 7th and 5th Sectors. Surviving new members will receive the mark of the union at dawn.
(OOCSeveral local covens of practicing witches, citing that tonight is also Walpurgisnacht, find this get-together rather tasteless in timing, and plan to sabotage this event. Player characters may join either side of the conflict this evening, we’ll start an open log if there is enough interest.)
- Sector 9 Guerrilla Gardening Meetup! A call for all eco-warriors to help beautify our neighborhood! Meet at Deitrich’s Deli on the corner of Fireson’s & Lamb Ave at noon. We’ll provide the plants and plans. Botanical growth and earth-tilling powers very very welcome!
- ZIPZ Arcade is introducing a new ‘hands-free’ arena dodgeball game later this month, using equipment which they claim can unlock the untapped power of telekinesis in anyone! For its debut, they plan to air a televised match between naturally born telekinetics against a new squad trained for a week using SERO’s new telekinetic headband technology. ZIPZ will provide a free pizza party for each team in the Blacklite Lounge, printed team t-shirts, and 500 game credits to each team member in addition to trophies for the champions. To participate, please see the front desk on Level 4 to see if you are eligible.
