Easter Miracles in Sector 3 prompt search for mysterious healer
Sarah Myers, age 12, had been fighting an aggressive brain tumor for years, leaving Port doctors baffled as to how to treat her. The cancer had developed in cohesion with her ability, her skin growing a metal lattice that prevented both invasive and non-invasive techniques. Sarah, expected only to survive another few weeks, was admitted to SPGH, then, if only to make the last few days of her life more comfortable, but between arriving at the hospital and admission, the tumor mysteriously vanished.
Miss Myers claimed to have spoken to a doctor in the waiting room, a mysterious bearded man who vanished moments later. While an image of the suspect was captured briefly by surveillance, nobody has as yet been able to identity the man involved, though the family are offering a reward to anyone who has information, wishing for the chance to thank him in person for giving them their little girl back.
In a further incident the same morning, an unknown healer was witnessed bringing another patient from the brink of death. The patient declined to give his name, but a nurse who witnessed it said that the healer was a 'handsome nurse with kind eyes' and offered a similar reward to Mrs. Myers for anyone able to get her his phone number.
Both miracles happened within minutes of each other, but despite the good publicity, Siren's Port General Hospital were quick to offer a statement claiming no responsibility for the incidents. "We have procedures in place so that this kind of thing doesn't happen. Somehow our security system was overcome, prompting us to investigate tighter security measures in the future. Healing isn't for amateurs."
