Ah- yes. Hello. This... is Garret Hawke here. The Champion of Kirkwall. I appear to be in a place that's... not where I went to sleep. So either I've been drinking in the Hanged man again, or I've been kidnapped by some form of wily demon.

[He sighed and gave that beard a scratch.]

The thing is, I'm a big fan of knowing where I am, and there's a lot of things here that really make me question what I had to drink last night. These buildings don't look like anything in Kirkwall. Or Fereldan. Maybe these are tevinter buildings? No. Fenris probably would have commented on how they were built by slaves or something.

[He shook his head and sighed.]

Well. If anyone could give me information I'd pay them in... [He checked for his purse.] A charming smile and perhaps even a flirty wink.

[Fenris nearly choked and spilled his drink when he heard Hawke's familiar voice, always slanted with amusement. And he snorted when Hawke mentioned him.

But now he's flipping on the video option to respond. It's been so long since he's seen Hawke.]

[He looked around up at the buildings.]

I know the architecture in Tevinter was supposed to be different but... I'm pretty sure we're not there?

[Just the thought of being in Tevinter brings a sneer to his lips.]

Think about it, Hawke. Do you think I would be here, calmly speaking with you over enchanted technology if we were in Tevinter? This place is only marginally more tolerable, but no less infested with magic.

[He chuckled and scratched his forehead. He peered around, it was quiet and it wasn't exactly getting to be lighter in the day.]

Well, If you'd already murdered half the population you might be stopping for a tea break or something.

[He shuffled his sword onto his back a little more comfortably.]

[The tone in his voice suggests that he doesn't think Hawke can stay put ever.]

[Now this is interesting. Fenris has mentioned a Hawke before, and is from Kirkwall. Could it be a coincidence? Zevran addresses his runestone NV from his palm, making sure his elfin ears are visible though he's dressed in a loose-fitting tank top and a long-winding light scarf. Grays and whites, fashionable right now, so he understands.]

Raise it to a kiss and I'll give you a tour of the whole city.

Well I certainly wouldn't say no to that.

[He said flirtily taking in the Elf. That accent was... Antivan if he wasn't off by a long mile. This might actually help him a lot!]

Ah, Yes. It was... an enlightening conversation, but so much so that I now have no idea what is reality and what is not. It's... a very odd feeling I assure you.

[He chuckles and shakes his head.]

But one foot in front of the other, I'm Garret Hawke. Call me Hawke and yes, the title was something given to me. It's... fantastic. Except blending in is something I can't do any more.

[He chuckled.]

We're friends. I helped him escape recapture and we've just... been friends ever since.

[He was teasing though, Hawke wouldn't say "m'lady" seriously unless he was referring to a queen.]

My smile has gotten me out of many situations. And made many more worse for me.

I... know how to smile when people around you are suffering. Sometimes it lightens their mood, and sometimes it makes me look horrible.

[His smile is somewhat sadder for a moment.]

But, if people are unhappy, it's my nature to try and cheer them up. Though witty sarcasm and playful banter, or to actually help them. Depending on what the problem is. I don't do anything with children or animals.
