I just have one question, you know, something I've been sorta wondering about. [He's trying to keep his voice steady and his tone light, but he can't seem to really bring much life to it] Go ahead and ignore me if this is too personal or whatever, but how do you deal with death? [He pauses] I mean, there's been that stuff on the news about vampire attacks and people dying and everything. So it just got me thinking, I guess. [That's not how he started thinking about it at all] I mean, I, uh, I never really lost anyone close to me before, at least not anyone I remember.

You know, when Kurt died, it happened right in front of me. I saw it happen to him and I couldn't stop it. But at least I didn't have to figure out how to live without him. The next day we were together again.

I think if anyone can do it, you can. You're the leader, remember? You keep everyone together. I think you can find it in you to keep yourself together too.

And if you can't, you have people here who care about you who will do whatever they can to help glue the pieces back.

but what happened to rachel... look youre someone i know from back home and youre someone who i actually used to think of as a friend. avoiding you and stuff just doesnt seem worth it right now

yeah it has been. hes been telling me some of the things that happened since he first showed up here

he told me that the two of you died. that he was in jail. he sort of explained his powers to me.

i dont know but there was enough. he wasnt exactly offering up information without me asking for it first so we probably didnt even cover half of it.

He's not really good at opening up back home, now you add all the messed up things this place has done to him it's going to be worse.
