[So it does happen on occasion that Sora likes to play Sherlock. This particular evening, inspiration strikes while in the midst of training exercises in the woods (taught to him some time ago by a certain blue haired master). His hair's a little mussed, outfit slightly askew. But here's something new! Sora's sporting some new duds: At the moment, his left arm's covered in what appears to be some well-crafted armor.]

I've been thinking... Back in my world, there used to things called Gates that helped get you from place to place. Thing is, they weren't all that easy to find, and they didn't just open for anybody or for any reason.

Only, if I'm right, I just might know a way to make this work!

[Hence, his next question. It's completely relevant to the previous matter, he promises:]

What's most important to you? What's something you guys just can't go without?

[Tell the sixteen year old about your precious items, Siren's Port. So he can ask to see it. Toss it in the air. Point a weapon at it.]

[It'll turn out just fine.]

[He rubs the back of his neck for a moment, but he he perks up.]

You never know until you try, right?

Hm... you're right! You never know. [Smiles.] I have something, do you want to give it a try?

[It's kind of her to indulge him, even when she doesn't think it has a chance of work. Even when she can probably tell... that Sora thinks it's a long shot too.]

Yeah! I do. Can you really show me?

[He doesn't say it aloud, but... he's actually intensely curious. What could Death herself find precious?]

Yeah! [She smiles, reaching behind her and taking off her necklace, the one that has a large black Ankh hanging from it. She holds it in front of the camera.]

This is what I used to contact my family. We all have an item like that. This is mine. It's not the actual item that's precious, though. It doesn't have any power. But it's special to me.

... Family?

[The look on his face says it all. He's pretty much trying to envision exactly what her siblings or father or mother look like. Every conversation with Death manages to catch him by surprise.

Don't mind him, he means no offense.]

Yup! I'm one of seven brothers and sisters. [Grins.] We're The Endless.

Talk about a big family! My family's just me, my mom and my dad.

... Do your brothers and sisters... do what you do?

They do! Well, they're not all death, of course, there's only one of me. But they're each an idea. There's Destiny, me, Dream, Destruction, the twins, Desire and Despair, and then Delirium. She's the baby of the family, since she used to be Delight.

What happened to her? Delirum's a long way from Delight!

No one knows, sorry. [Shrugs.] She never talks about it.

You mean you haven't ever asked her about it?

Oh, no, I have. She just doesn't like to talk about it. Ever.

Now I feel kinda bad for her.

I mean if she's just like you -- [and by that, he means immortal, or at least as strong or powerful in a sense as Death can be considered] -- then whatever happened must have been really sad.

It's why she's Delirium, now. She was here, like me and Destiny, once. But now she's just around like normal.

[A moment of thought.]

Well... maybe if this works, you can see her again!
