[So it does happen on occasion that Sora likes to play Sherlock. This particular evening, inspiration strikes while in the midst of training exercises in the woods (taught to him some time ago by a certain blue haired master). His hair's a little mussed, outfit slightly askew. But here's something new! Sora's sporting some new duds: At the moment, his left arm's covered in what appears to be some well-crafted armor.]

I've been thinking... Back in my world, there used to things called Gates that helped get you from place to place. Thing is, they weren't all that easy to find, and they didn't just open for anybody or for any reason.

Only, if I'm right, I just might know a way to make this work!

[Hence, his next question. It's completely relevant to the previous matter, he promises:]

What's most important to you? What's something you guys just can't go without?

[Tell the sixteen year old about your precious items, Siren's Port. So he can ask to see it. Toss it in the air. Point a weapon at it.]

[It'll turn out just fine.]

Ohhhhh right. A teleport. [Nope. No compredo, dear Sora. But that's alright. When in Rome, eh? Every world apparently works on a completely illogical scale what with magic existing and oh, yeah. Who is he to question all of this when his friend is getting retrocognitive powers, right?

Ahhh Siren's Port, you never do cease to boggle him.]

So is it- hm. Is it some sort of... great, big ring? Something you put some sort of key in and it powers up and catapults you to a different... planet, maybe? Or do you really have the ability to skip from reality to reality to reality?

[He pauses then, tugging at his ear and then rubbing his hand through his hair, trying to make sense of all of this.]

The space-time continuum. Not just time travel, no-pah! Bit like what you're talking about, just without gates. Get in a specialized ship, punch in a few coordinates, throw a few levers, and you can zoom off through the universe to anywhere, anywhen. All in one reality, though. Lost that ability years back.

[And the world that Sora operates in is about as illogical and magical as they get. It's become something of a norm for Sora, so he doesn't quite question it until he gets questions like these.]

Hmmm... [He wonders how much of this he should actually divulge.] I guess you could say it's like that. Bu there are lots of clouds and wind! And the ground kinda lights up under your feet. Then, when everything goes white. When you open your eyes again? You're on your ship.

It's never taken me to a different time. But definitely to different worlds.

[To be honest, with all this space-time-ship-universe talk, Sora is the one who is boggled. But it's ... also a little neat. Does that mean he's like Sora too?]
