[So it does happen on occasion that Sora likes to play Sherlock. This particular evening, inspiration strikes while in the midst of training exercises in the woods (taught to him some time ago by a certain blue haired master). His hair's a little mussed, outfit slightly askew. But here's something new! Sora's sporting some new duds: At the moment, his left arm's covered in what appears to be some well-crafted armor.]

I've been thinking... Back in my world, there used to things called Gates that helped get you from place to place. Thing is, they weren't all that easy to find, and they didn't just open for anybody or for any reason.

Only, if I'm right, I just might know a way to make this work!

[Hence, his next question. It's completely relevant to the previous matter, he promises:]

What's most important to you? What's something you guys just can't go without?

[Tell the sixteen year old about your precious items, Siren's Port. So he can ask to see it. Toss it in the air. Point a weapon at it.]

They're not. They've done some pretty crummy things to people who didn't even deserve it.

I'm glad you haven't had to deal with any of them so far. Just steer clear of those guys, okay?

Don't worry. I'm good at staying away from people I don't want to talk to.

Shouldn't you stay away from them?

Would if I could, but for somebody like me? That's gonna be a lot harder than it sounds.

Why's that?

I'm kind of a team leader for this program for Newcomer kids. It keeps em' busy, helps them make a lot of new friends, and it's really fun! You should come by and see it sometime!

Only problem is, those moms we were just talking about? They make like we're just a bunch of troublemakers. The only trouble here is the kind they make for us.

[reassures]

I'm not really a kid. But-- maybe sometime.

...do they bother your program?

That's okay-- you don't need to be a kid to have fun with us. The kids always love meeting new people. You could even join in on the activities.

It's not dangerous. I wouldn't let any of them go after the kids. But they sure like to spread some pretty mean rumors. And they do some shifty stuff, like reserving the community center's space when they know we've got plans there.

I wish they'd just quit it already.

[reassures]

That's terrible!

But-- if you need help sometimes, I could do that, I think.

I might be able to get them to leave you alone sometimes, too.

If you could get these guys to leave us alone, that'd be great. But I hope you're not gonna do anything crazy. Wouldn't want you to get into trouble or in danger!

Don't worry! If it works, I don't think they'd be able to find out I did it. But it probably wouldn't fix things permanently.

Even a little break would make things a whole lot easier on us.

So what's the plan? Anything I can do to help?

No-- not really. I'd need to be there for it to work, but it isn't something that can really be helped with.
