[So it does happen on occasion that Sora likes to play Sherlock. This particular evening, inspiration strikes while in the midst of training exercises in the woods (taught to him some time ago by a certain blue haired master). His hair's a little mussed, outfit slightly askew. But here's something new! Sora's sporting some new duds: At the moment, his left arm's covered in what appears to be some well-crafted armor.]

I've been thinking... Back in my world, there used to things called Gates that helped get you from place to place. Thing is, they weren't all that easy to find, and they didn't just open for anybody or for any reason.

Only, if I'm right, I just might know a way to make this work!

[Hence, his next question. It's completely relevant to the previous matter, he promises:]

What's most important to you? What's something you guys just can't go without?

[Tell the sixteen year old about your precious items, Siren's Port. So he can ask to see it. Toss it in the air. Point a weapon at it.]

[She sighs lightly. It's not that she's convinced or believes what he's saying now, but she knows that if she presses on, if she disagrees with him more, they'll never get anywhere.

Sora, why can't you just accept her answers?]

...Maybe. But it... still used me.

[She's always so hard on herself. Sometimes pushing makes things harder on them both, but there are some things that Sora can't let go or accept. Not when he knows it might be hurting her, or making her feel bad.

She's really pretty when she smiles. And it makes Sora's heart ache when she's burdened by sadness.]

It ... used a lotta people, Namine. It said and did a lot of things Roxas didn't want it doing too.

I don't think it's his fault either. And do you know why?

[She blinks and looks up, a little too curious for her own good.]

Because even if he did have a part of himself he wasn't real proud of, it's still only just a part. The stuff he's done, or felt in the past? That's not all Roxas is. He's way more than that. He's rescued people, cheered up friends, run his own business, and lives with his pals in an apartment. He's even saved me a bunch of times in a fight.

We've been through a lot together, and even if he might've felt those things? I know he'd never hurt me if he could help it.

He's my friend. And so are you, Namine. All of you-- not just parts, and not just sometimes. But all the time.

...How can you all be so forgiving?
