[Kurt sighs. Well, he knew this wasn't going to be easy. And Blaine doesn't have someone like Death helping him. He straightens up then moves to sit against the headboard, offering his lap as a pillow for Blaine.]

[Blaine curls up and puts his head against Kurt's legs.]

[He's quiet for a while, just stroking Blaine's hair. The position invokes a memory from the year before, when they'd first been drawn into the Port.]

Remember when we first arrived here?

It was so hard to forgive myself for that. It took me so long. But I had to do it, I had to come to terms with it, Blaine--or I could never move on.

[Blaine closes his eyes and turns his head into Kurt's leg. He groans. This conversation is taking a lot of his energy, and he doesn't really know what Kurt wants him to say.]

[It's not about what Kurt wants. He is losing patience, though. He taps Blaine's cheek with his fingertips gently.]

Blaine. Come on. Don't you want to feel better?
