012 Twelfth Petal Video

[Byakuya has recovered from being battered by angel reiatsu during the SERO raid. He hasn't complained, merely stayed in his house and recovered from the owie.

However, today, he is in his room, at his desk with papers spread in front of him. He glances up at the feed.]

I am announcing it now, though I have already tendered my resignation. I will be leaving Hawthorne University at the end of this semester.

I bear no ill will toward the university or anyone who remains there. I will, of course, be searching for a new position immediately.

Fail!Locked to the NPP

I am also tendering my resignation to the NPP.

As I have not been attending meetings at all, I doubt this will come as a surprise.

My reasonings are thus: I find the leadership's policies to clash with my own code of owner. I cannot condone guilty until proven innocent.

I will, of course, answer any and all questions posed to me.

Where did I say he was guilty? You're the only one who used that word. All I did was tell you what you already knew; we need to give an impression of safety, and while the public might consider him guilty, we as the NPP know better then to let public opinion cloud our judgement.

By the way, you left one part out, where I said that those who have been standing up for him are making him guiltier by association? That would include you. Since you seem to not understand how this works, I'll put it into simple terms; you are making baseless accusations on something that has been dealt with already. If you truly has a problem with how the committee is run, you would have resigned right then and there, or within a few days. Instead, you waited months, so that when you resigned, it would cause a dramatic confrontation.

Instead, you just showed how ignorant you are, and that we are much better off without you.
