Okay. [ She is not even going to tell her not to come over. ]

[Good, because even if Claire said no? Rochelle would be coming anyway. She didn't know Sylar, but she got plenty of stories from Claire the "last" time and this time too. So it didn't take much convincing of herself to come.

And most importantly, her friend was her.

She got to the apartment as fast as she could and knocked quickly on the door.]

[ She leaves her NV on the bed, Mr. Muggles following at her heels as she walks down to the door. She peers through the peephole first before opening, a small smile on her face. ]

[As soon as Claire is in sight, Rochelle is slightly relieved. Not by that much, seeing as she's brought a first aid kit, but Claire was still in one piece.]

What happened?

A first aid kit? You know I regenerate, right? [ She'd attempt a laugh if she wasn't, like... about ready to collapse from mental exhaustion. She steps forward to put her arms around Rochelle in a tight hug; Peter wasn't here and she needed to hug someone. ]

Sylar took my ability.

You told me what Sylar does, remember? [Or maybe Ro needed to remember. Now she wasn't sure if it was the first time she came here or the current time that it got mentioned to it. She held up the kit.] This was just in case. So are we gonna need it--

[OH HEY. Hug. Rochelle doesn't hesitate to hug Claire back. She lets out a sight of relief. After hearing the stuff Sylar does, she's just happy Claire seems like she's in one piece.]

You scared the shit out of me, you know that? [She let go. She frowned at the new reveal of Claire's powers being gone, though.] Shit... did you heal before he did?

[She can guess easy enough that SOMETHING when down from Claire's video before.]

I can still heal. He didn't permanently take it. I don't know how it works, to be honest. [ She frowns, remembering him saying how special she was, how unlike any other she was, back when he had first taken her ability. ]

[Ro lead Claire inside. You know, because she totally owned the place.]

Basically. [ Claire is okay with this. She takes the lead into the kitchen, though, because her small studio apartment really was, well, small. There's a table there with two chairs, Mr. Muggles barking up at Rochelle at her heels.

Claire takes a seat in one of the chairs. ] He says that he can see how things work, and he can figure out how abilities work in the brain once he's in there.

[Ro followed and took a seat. When Mr. Muggles wouldn't leave her alone, she decided to just pick him up and give him the attention he apparently seemed to want.]

Jesus mercy... are you SURE you're okay, honey? You can't just post a video with blood of your face without a few reactions.

I'm fine. I've gone through this before. [ Mr. Muggles was in heaven in Rochelle's arms. Claire watches him, the ghost of a smile on her face. At least Mr. Muggles was still safe. ]

Claire. You sure? [Her tone was gentle, but a little unbelieving. as she idly scratched Mr. Muggles hear, but she was obviously more focused on Claire.] You KNOW if there's anything you need to talk about I'm here. Bottling that shit up doesn't do anyone any good.

[For all Ro knew she really was okay, but it wasn't gonna stop her from checking.]

I know. [ She leans back a little in her chair, propping her elbow against the table and cupping her chin in her hand. ]

But I can handle this. [ She hopes. At least she'd stopped crying. ]

[Ro sighed.]

I know you can, sweetie. But you don't have to by yourself.

I'd rather I did. I don't want anybody else having to go through this, too. [ She looks down at the table, chewing on her inner lip. She sighs softly. ]

I should have called Peter first instead of just going straight to his apartment. [ She glances over to the small box on her counter, filled with the paper-bombs Shika had given her. ] In hindsight everything I should have done is a lot clearer to me than before.

Then you might have to deal with being stuck with me. [PONTED LOOK.

Also, sigh.]

Don't beat yourself up over it. There's ALWAYS something ANYBODY could have done. [Then Ro follows her glance.] ... What?

Nothing. [ She turns her attention back to Rochelle and Mr. Muggles. ]

Thanks for coming over. [ It was a lot better than she thought it would have been having somebody over. ]

[Ro paused. It just seemed like a simple glance but it seemed... off. With what happened to Claire, though, she decided she wouldn't pester her too much about it. For now.]
