So, does it snow like that here often? 'Cause, I mean, if it does, then I guess I could be a little better prepared, you know? Warm clothes and stuff. Probably could stock up on food too. [That last bit is sort of mumbled to himself]

Speaking of clothes and food and stuff -- plus, I don't wanna be a freeloader too much longer -- I think it's probably time I got a job or something. This is probably gonna sound stupid to some people, but I'm not even sure where to start looking. I mean, I'm not even really sure what I'm good at, as far as job skills and things go. Well, I know what I'm good at and everything, I'm just not really sure how it would apply or anything.

[He lays the NV on his bed next to him, so it's just pointed up toward the ceiling now. It's not a bad ceiling. Finn's spent a lot of time looking at it]

I feel sorta useless and changing that would be kinda nice.

Kinda like the whole fight fire with fire thing, huh? [He pauses] You know, I feel like I've been fighting ever since I decided to join [Got blackmailed into joining] glee club, and I'm no further ahead than I was when I started.

Sure, it's better to be friends with someone, I'm not saying it isn't. But embarrassment is a really powerful tool. Trust me, man, it was never about friendships or anything. Any one of us going up against any of the guys on the football team was basically a death wish for me out on the field. I mean things have changed with them since then but now it's the hockey team. You're right though. The whole high road approach never really worked. [He laughs to himself] Me and my buddy Puck have our ways of dealing with people but unfortunately, that does happen to be something the principal actually does frown upon, I guess.

[Excuse him while he laughs at that] Dude, the Titans suck. We were probably the biggest losers in our division. It was only this year that we finally started to win. You know, so far here, I haven't been getting hassled five out of seven days a week. Something this place has over home.

Still. This place isn't really that bad, all things considered.

You know, you're right. This place really isn't all that bad. But then, sometimes I think just about anywhere is probably better than Lima.

You wouldn't want to go to Gotham. It's worse then this city.

What's Gotham like, exactly? I remember you mentioning Gotham being like some kinda crime capitol of America or something.

It's a really big city, we're south of New York City. Gotham is on an island? So there's a big bridge and some ferries to take you back and forth from Gotham to Bludhaven, or to New York. It's... crime ridden. It is the crime capitol of America. We have a lot of Metas around, and a lot of crazy criminals. There's a really big prison and asylum that they're all sent to, on the edge of the city. We're the masked vigilante capitol of the world, too. We have Batman, Superman, the Justice League, the Teen Titans... tons of them.

Whoa whoa whoa. Hold up for a second. Metas?

Meta-humans. You know. People who have powers. Everyone in Siren's Port is a Meta.

Oh. I didn't know that they actually had a word for it.

Yeah. I have a friend who, back in her world, they call them mutants.

Really? That seems kinda... I don't know, harsh?

That's the name they gave themselves, actually. It just picked up with the rest of the world.
