If he is guilty, then he will be convicted, and rightfully so. If he is not, then the law will account for that as well. If he is to be found guilty, [which Franziska personally to be the case, because unless the police are complete incompetents (but there always is that possibility, isn't there?) an innocent should not be brought in front of the courts in the first place--] you may come to learn that you were better off without him anyway.
Did he do what they say he did? It seems strange sometimes, does it not- we are forced to obey human laws and yet are not in this human place of our own volition.
The news said attacked not killed, I should think there ought to be leniency with that- especially considering his young daughter who is afflicted with the same condition.
And it is not as though he can request a change of venue should his trial proceed- trapped on an island and all- how could it be fair now with all this fervor over the two vampires who are killing and running rampant now?
Do you think Angel and Godric shall be tried? Or will there be mitigating circumstances what with the soul snatching and whathaveyou? I should think in light of their death toll, the fact that this other one only drank and ran should be a source for clemency.

I have been confident in the skills of Monsieur Van Helsing, but since the incident with the rampaging vampires... I am afraid that my thoughts upon this trial have turned fearful.
