If he is guilty, then he will be convicted, and rightfully so. If he is not, then the law will account for that as well. If he is to be found guilty, [which Franziska personally to be the case, because unless the police are complete incompetents (but there always is that possibility, isn't there?) an innocent should not be brought in front of the courts in the first place--] you may come to learn that you were better off without him anyway.
