I just have one question, you know, something I've been sorta wondering about. [He pauses] I mean, there's been that stuff on the news about vampire attacks and people dying and everything. So it just got me thinking, I guess. [That's not how he started thinking about it at all] I mean, I, uh, I never really lost anyone close to me before, at least not anyone I remember.

But before I went home, I was with her almost every night but ever since I got back, I've been too wrapped up in my own problems, I guess. Normally, I would've been there.

I think it's natural, not knowing what to do. But what you shouldn't do is blame yourself, okay?

It's just really hard not to because there's so many things I can think of that could've just made the whole thing go differently and maybe Rachel wouldn't be dead right now.
