Ah, quick question. What do people eat on a regular basis?

[Normally this would be an easy question to answer, but....she's so confused.]

I mean, I imagine you can't eat the same thing every day, but how do you keep it diverse too? Do you have to go shopping every few days? And cooking, do you have to do it three times a day too?

Honestly I have no idea how you get anything done if you're cooking or eating all the time.

How do you keep it diverse? Well- I assume you've seen the variety of options here in port. Not that half of them- less than half, at that, are of significant nutritional value.

Personally I don't cook much for myself, I tend to get most foods prepared. Franz nor I have much time to be puttering around a kitchen- but a leisurely meal is nice, a sociable one even more enjoyable. It gives people a chance to sit and talk.

Actually, I haven't gotten a chance to see the variety of food in the city. I don't eat, so it's not like I've ever needed to.

But it's not as though food isn't nearly everywhere you look! Surely you just haven't been considering it as anything edible, till very recently.

It's funny isn't it? You get the taste of truth from a different angle, even just once, and your whole perspective shifts around it.

Well, when you don't need something in any capacity, anything involved with it sort of slips by you.

I was born human, actually, but I don't remember being human. I've been led to believe it's probably better that way.

Ah...no. My case is unique. The change does cause some fading of memories for everyone else, apparently, but I just...forgot everything. If it weren't for my gift, I wouldn't have even known my own name.
