So, in the past few weeks I've been:
And now, Valentine's day is coming up. The big two-fourteen: bane of every single person and job-addicted superhero everywhere. I've got good memories of the day from back home, but truth be told? Manhattan is not the place you want to be come dusk on Valentine's day. Especially if you main mode of transportation is web swinging at a height of just high enough to not have to deal with all the lovey-dovey proclamations of, well, love; but, also not so high that you can't help but accidentally see couples in pent houses getting, ah -- well, you get my point!
[ A beat, as if he's thinking of something. ]
What were your Valentine's days like, before you came here? Can't be worse than mine, I bet.
[ ooc | as usual, Peter is posting from a second NV specifically designated to Spider-man, and his voice sounds nothing like his normal "Peter Parker" voice. ]
- Burnt, frozen -- twice! -- and then screamed at so loudly that it felt like I was burning; which, lemme tell ya? Is murder on the ear drums,
- Slammed through a wall, then another wall, then a third and a fourth, all because I asked a suspiciously girl-shaped monster if she'd lost her way,
- Had to catch the same gang of crooks more times than I would've liked, and then had to watch them break out of prison and almost get eaten by what looked like a flock of fire hydrants with teeth. Yeah, time travel? Not cool when it's wild.
- Forced to squeeze pennies like I was trying to give the inside of hand a tattoo of good ol' honest Abe, which is just nuts. I mean, seriously -- I know we're in a recession and whatnot, but a gallon of milk is five dollars and I'm officially the most broke healthy person on the planet!

Re: permavideo
And so long as it's stable and not going to collapse, expand the inside if you would like.
Now march yourself down there and eat actual food.
Re: permavideo
Truly, my appetite is settled at the moment. And perhaps for a while. ...it has been a long week.
Re: permavideo
Yes, it has. You still need more than caffeine and sugar to survive.
What do you like to eat? You ate more than that back home.
Re: permavideo
In Asgard, mostly brandied pears and whatever meat was being served.
...I mostly ate junk food back in Paris.
Re: permavideo
So do Jubilee. You see how tall she grew up to be.
[Count down to Jubilee yelling in 3...2...1...]

It will likely be Japanese and involve tofu and radishes, so do not be alarmed.
Re: permavideo
Re: permavideo
Mm. I shall. But might I ask why you do not eat it?
Re: permavideo
[And he means that.]
Most Jews don't, it's one of the dietary laws. And personally, the texture and smell make me more than a bit ill.

[ACTION]
I'm not short; I'm CHINESE!
Re: [ACTION]
And I'm Jewish, what's your point?
Re: [ACTION]
[She sticks her tongue out at him.]
Re: [ACTION]
[Ick Jubilee.]
Pardon me for wanting to shove you all full of veggies and fruits.
Re: [ACTION]
[Meaning she eats a helluva lot better than you.]
besides, you're one to talk. At least I don't only live off of coffee.
Re: [ACTION]
[He's old. He's allowed.]
I don't. You're not the only one soaking under sunlamps, you know.
[Or. Other sources.]
Re: [ACTION]
Re: [ACTION]
[He sighs.]
I'll be fine. I promise.
[Even better, because Lucifer has fixed his shoulder.]
Re: [ACTION]
[Nope, crossing her arms and glaring.]
Do I need to tattle to Francis, Emma, and Unohana?
[Because she will.]
Re: [ACTION]
I don't need minding Jubilee. The last few days have been rough. The next few will be. And then things will even out.
