I know I probably gave people a fright before, but I'm okay now. My name's Rue. I met a lot of kind people after I arrived who helped me out. I like it here, actually, even if it's not perfect. Like everyone's jumping on Newcomers about that missing girl...

But it's nice people are so worried about her, I hope she's found soon. [If at all. Rue's seen too many people lose their children, including her own family.]

I have a question, actually. Um, I promised someone I'd go to school here, so I want to do that.I think the schools here are different than home though, so where should I go?

It depends on the tutor. I can use magic to help people with Darkness-proofing, so I've got something to trade for tutoring.

I have money. I just don't know which would be best.

Well, some of the locals here hate Newcomers, so if you get a tutor, you won't have to deal with being in a class of kids who hate Newcomers just for being here. Besides, most of them are stupid, anyway.

Well, there are classes at the Newcomer community center. It's not school but it is only Newcomers.
