I've been here, um... I think over a month now. That's a while, at least it seems to be to me. [Given the high risk she had of not living even another week before;;;]

I know I probably gave people a fright before, but I'm okay now. My name's Rue. I met a lot of kind people after I arrived who helped me out. I like it here, actually, even if it's not perfect. Like everyone's jumping on Newcomers about that missing girl...

But it's nice people are so worried about her, I hope she's found soon. [If at all. Rue's seen too many people lose their children, including her own family.]

I have a question, actually. Um, I promised someone I'd go to school here, so I want to do that.I think the schools here are different than home though, so where should I go?

Well, I'm sure lots of people would be willing to help out if you posed the question! Just ask straight out like 'HEY IS ANYONE HERE QUALIFIED AS A TUTOR, and would those certain individuals be so kind as to teach Newcomer kids of the Port as opposed to letting them languish in a system that may promote an unfair advantage and bias toward natives who may or may not have unfair superpowers as well!'

Oh, pfffffffffft, I'm fairly sure they wouldn't care about if Newcomers fought Newcomers, unless they're trying to say that we're violent, but then if anyone's going to be qualified to help and not help, then they deserve what's coming to them!

No problem-o! Being a student is really fun, you know, and I hope you get to enjoy it to its fullest extent! Which means, of course, weeding out all the bad places first because you don't want to go through a bad time when doing school!

Me and my friends would have fun at school back home.

They make you wear uniforms here?

Well, I don't know about here. Maybe the private schools? There are uniforms in Japan, though! Some places had cuter ones than others, anyway. Could be a sign of prestige and everything.

I'm pretty sure there are some private schools here that might have them. Buuut I'd have to look and see what they look like!

I never thought of uniforms as cute before. [Because normally scary people wear them >.>] What do you like about them?

Colors, styles, fabrics, and sometimes the lengths of the skirts!

I've heard of girls who refused to go to certain schools because the color of the uniform didn't compliment them at all! But that's a bit funny, isn't it?

It sounds funny, learning is the important thing about going to school.

Well, I guess that depends on the person. Some go to school to interact, and that's a valid reason, sure. Sometimes it's important to know people and practice your social skills before you hit the big world, you know? It's all to be seen by the right people!

[She's a bit guilty of doing that as well, considering how hard she worked to get into the Space Defense Agency. Passed their tests and everything, which is the real way to get in. And that meant tones of studying.]

But a lot of it is about the learning, and that's something hard to find elsewhere!

I think it's good to make friends, I hope I can make some. Learning and making friends together.

That's a good goal to have!

Not to mention, friends help the study process! ...Well, if you're doing it right, anyway.
