It varies with each answer given.

Naturally, if the question you are answering is one of your own creation, the answer will vary.

For example with the question I make, my answer differs still. All stars must fall to make room for other stars.

Every star that falls has a light all its own.

To extinguish their light would not create more.

Patently untrue. Literally and metaphorically. Stars are made of such stuff as must die, to come together and make more stars.

Metaphorically, in the mind to which I put it, eventually something that has grown to the end of its life must die to make room for what will come after. Cities must fall, fathers must die, kings must be succeeded.

I was once a doctor myself, I am not a stranger to the necessity for death.

To extinguish is to end, Ra's al Ghul. A star at rest has not truly ceased to be.

To everything there is a season -- that which lives will eventually meet its end.

The existence of the circle of life does not eliminate the value of those who dwell within it.

All things, Ra's. A life is a life regardless of the path it takes.

[ He does not discriminate, nor does he have that luxury. The standards the gods must hold to is much higher than those they create. ]
