Had someone introduced my prior incarnation to these delicious creations, I might never have attempted to take over or otherwise destroy Midgard.

[A small groan as he sits up straighter] And thus I have decided to share the deliciousness with everyone.

[A pause and he spells out] P. S. they'll not change back. [Then grins and the feed cuts.]

Is so. Only women cook in Asgard. Aside from when out on hunts and the like. But that is more - ah- roasting things on an open flame rather than actual cooking.

You are getting married, yes? Ought your future wife not do the cooking?

Why? I'm better at it, I like doin' it-- there's no point in makin' her do it just cuz she's a girl.

No. Or, well, not in my time. It is here. But, y'know, me and Sirius moved in together, and one o' us had to learn how to cook, so there you go.

He can't. He's useless at household spells, we gotta do all the cleanin' by hand and he burns whatever food he touches. Anyway, like I said, I like cookin'. It's calmin'.
