Y'know, I get that this place can send people home 'n all that stuff, but... I dunno if I can ever get used to it. I, ah... I found out a really good friend of mine is gone. A bunch of people might've known him--his name is Francis Bonnefoy. The delivery guys dropped off a bunch of books that were from him for me earlier. He... I liked him a lot.

We went on a date before he disappeared, too. I dunno how I can really repay that, but I wanna dedicate a night at Purgatory to the guy. If it wasn't for him, I probably would've been toast when I showed up last year. Not tonight, though. I think I'm just gonna hang around with the regulars tonight if that's cool with Jinx 'n Gabe. I guess the whole point of this thing was just to let you guys know he's sorta... Not here anymore. M'gonna miss him, but he's gotta be safer back home. He's just gotta be.

It smelled like a normal pastry until he looked in the bag and then his heart stopped in his chest. An eclair. Francis had introduced him to them and he had been hooked. Then when he hears Axel in the kitchen, Demyx rushes out to throw his arms around the redhead from behind.

[He supposes he should have seen this coming. He long-sufferingly endures the embrace for about six seconds, then closes the fridge with his foot and proceeds to mostly ineffectually attempt to wriggle free of the Demyx-vice.] Come on, man, gerroffa me.
